The thread in the PF on why and how we lost our thread ratings is still my favorite thread on this site. I've never seen liberals go into full warrior mode before that. I gained a little respect for them that day.

If I had to guess what's going on out west is that the PAC is generally getting the higher rated recruits, but the MWC is generally doing a better job at developing their recruits (especially at the top end of the conference).
