Are the Lions even worthy of being put in the same sentence as the Redskins? Probably not!! The Redskins are 3x's super bowl champions in what 5 appearances? The only Lion to even make it to a super bowl was in Katy Perry half time show. Adding the Redskins is irrelevant. IMHO

Before William Clay Ford bought the Farm, I would guess it was an Auto Industry Curse in the State of Michigan. The Jury is still out on Martha Ford... I think she wants to win.

Part of the problem for the Lions is they don't seem to place a premium on selecting those who man the trenches, at least with their first round picks. Over their last 20 first rounders, only 8 have been used on those trenches (OL & DL), whereas 7 have been on receivers (WR & TE). And not a single selection in this batch for the secondary. Kind of a strange mix.

The jets have some direction now. You’re right dolphins have been rebuilding forever.

Lions did a horrible job bringing in head coaches and GMs until now. They are just getting off the ground. Last few years we had a JV high school offensive coordinator. Prior to that we were stuck with huge contracts from early round picks which does not happen anymore with the rookie contracts being pre-set.

I expect another bumpy year this year especially after losing our Center and MLB last night (although the Center will be back at some point) and our lack of depth. I expect to make the playoffs next year though once this is rectified.

The Lions putting their franchise hopes on Stafford was a mistake. He puts up big numbers, but isn't a franchise guy.

Gave him a huge deal, rid themselves of offensive talent around him, turned into "a running team".

Yeah, maybe on the Jets but we'll see. A couple of questionable moves. I don't care for the Gase hire or the big FA overpays. They do have the money but I think the Mosley sign was just dumb and as for Bell, big overpay that I think will backfire. Talented player to help Darnold but he won't be as good as he was and will end up fucking them over because he's just an ass.
