And today my son got to meet/get a picture with matt barzal.

This happened at canlan in North Vancouver. Many of the local pros were practicing together. Rielly and martin jones were there. My buddies cousin who is playing in england this season was one of the pros skating. He held a skills training session yesterday for the boys and he was talking about the one non pro who has been skating with them ... 14 year old Connor Bedard. He just turned 14 mid july I hadnt heard of him but hes already been featured in the hockey news as the next big thing.

By chance we happened to see bedard playing summer 3v3 against midget aged kids at the rink today. Good lord. I mean its just 3v3 but damn he was amazing.
