That's what I love about the Allman Bros. You can get a really down and dirty soulful blues song and a nice uplifting song like Blue Sky.

The sound was a little different, but they still thrived after Duane's death too. Not many bands would be able to go on with any success after that.

I've heard it. He was also playing guitar on Layla.

I went through a Hendrix phase for a couple of years. I dig deep when I am into bands or solo artists. I still kind of laugh at the pictures on the one album cover where they are dressed like cowboys. Noel and Mitch look out of place.

There are probably 2, maybe 3 Beach Boys songs I would say I really like. The rest is just sugary pop.

I would say I prefer Motown also
