You can blame Banny and his “swing for the fences and if you strike out it’s ok” mentality.

I’d rather have a team full of hitters who are tough outs and tough to strike out then this garbage. You usually can’t win if you don’t put the ball in play.
You can blame individual managers or you can blame the one who hired them.

Guess I will eat this pot of beans and cornbread with rice, chicken and green beans and watch Rio Bravo and try and forget about the last 6 games.

That’s how most WS winners have it. Plus good pitching.

Sounds great.

Turned out to be pork loin instead of chicken and it was delicious and so was the chocolate pie. Now it's Gunsmoke after Rio Bravo ended.

Still have not gotten clear rationale why Calhoun was sent down.

.179 AVG, .207 OBP, .287 SLG%

Those were his July stats and his struggles extended back into the last week or so in June, so it's not surprising at all.

Ok I get that but stats aside. His hit-tool looks, more user friendly than Mazara , Guzman or Odor. Since Gallo injury, he has not gotten back in a rhythm as well.

One might say we are in a playoff race so we want best guy up but to me we had to continue player development and he probably needed it more than others at the MLB level.

I wonder if team "chemistry" is in play. If so that is a shame.

If you want to use stats for being sent down. Guzman and Odor should have been sent down also.

Nope they have lost 6 in a row now
considering how poorly the whole team has done at the plate I am afraid that I don't see one player, Calhoun, turning the path we're going down changing that much

So what do you guys think?

I’d say anyone except for gallo, Elvis, and Santana is tradeable.

Gallo for obvious reasons. He’s the only young player worth a shit.

Elvis has always had a “ranger for life” feel to me and he has a contract.

Santana because he’s such a rare find. He’s like a Ben zobrist , versatile, super sub who could play any position. I don’t think we’ve seen a player like him on the rangers before. He’s 28 with 2 years of cheap control.

I could care less if anyone else gets moved, but I’d prefer they keep Lynn because that would be one less hole in the rotation to fill.
I think for the right offer even Elvis is tradeable. Gallo & Santana may be untouchable
