The Pelicans have agreed to a deal to trade Anthony Davis to the Lakers for Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart, and three first-round picks – including the No. 4 overall in 2019 Draft, league sources tell ESPN.

Hopefully they are smart and wait to make this official later on. That way they can have cap space to play with in a couple of weeks.

Looks like the cost of keeping Kuzma was sending out 2 more 1st round picks instead of just #4. I like Kuz but that might be a little steep. Then again, Kuz helps you now. Those 2 futures could be anything.

Those two first probably aren't going to be worth Jack with Lebron and AD on the team.

Plus the team is a whole lot more appealing to top free agents now

I wouldn't say that. Kuzma was drafted 27th overall. So was Pascal Siakim. Also, look at the Warriors. They could be champs right now if they hit on a couple of their late round picks. But like I said, Kuzma does more for you RIGHT NOW. However, if we're competing for championships two years from now, those late 1st might have been useful to fill out the bench. Basically the Lakers have decided that they will have to hit on every low salary player to fill out the end of the rotation. Not saying they can't. But given that front office signed that clownshow of vets last year, you gotta be hopeful they can clean that shit up
