I love those reports. "Could reportedly look into" could be almost anything.

As far as reporters asking the most asinine questions the best I''ve heard in a while was w/ Steve Kerr. When Curry was on that hot streak earlier in the playoffs. I think it was something like x-amount of games for him in a row w/ 34/7/7. The way too young reporter asked Kerr if he had ever seen another player put together a streak like that.

Kerr could have embarrassed the report but just said he played w/ some fella named Michael Jordan. Fucking milennials.

I could reportedly look into doing yard work after dinner tonight. Anyone want to put odds on that, lol?
Love the reports like "Kyrie interested in going to Lakers" when that could be this......

reporter/friend - "Kyrie, what about the Lakers?"
Kyrie -" hmm....I wouldn't rule out anything."

Report - Kyrie interested in LA

Okay. How about slim to none?

Winner winner chicken? dinner

...and that's not because it's scheduled to rain (although that will be a deal breaker), but because I'm single and didn't sleep too much last night. I'm about ready to find a hiding place at work for a catnap, lol.

I think most base that on seeing him talking to Lebron, but then that means that Kawhi is coming too, along with a host of others.

Kawhi, AD, Kemba, Tobias Harris, Boogie Cousins, Kyrie, Klay. If I missed anyone my bad. They all gonna be playing for the Purple 'n Gold next year.

How do you feel about that?

Obviously you sign Kyrie if you can, but...

On the one hand, you would land a very talented player.

On the other, fit needs to be perfect for a guy like Kyrie to have a really positive impact, and I just don't see it in Brooklyn. He could mess up their flow. I have a hard time envisioning Kyrie and DLo sharing in a way that will maximize both players' talents.

Hate it. Not a Kyrie fan after seeing what happened in Boston. Want him nowhere near the nets. Think he would ruined the nets unless he's coming with Kawhi or KD.

I don't get it either. He's basically trying to force himself almost into another Celtics type situation (promising young core) without the veterans like Hayward (holding them back) and Horford (helping them forward). It's an odd fit to me, other than locale.

DLo could be gone. Then you have Kyrie, Dinwiddie, Harris, LeVert, Allen and I'm sure they are trying to dump that Crabbe contract. You sign Kyrie and you COULD bring back DLo or go after another big fish....

They have another max slot if they can shed that Crabbe contract. I think they will be trying hard to make a deal with CLE or another team to make this happen.

If they keep DLo, that's basically all they have are PGs and SGs. PGs DLo, Dinwiddie, Napier...SGs Crabbe, Harris, LeVert, Musa. The only other players under contract are SF Kurucs and C Allen.

I would think they would want to add some size, not another shoot first PG. Chasing names over fit it seems.

Right. If Kyrie does indeed go to Brooklyn, DLo really doesn't make sense. Seems like they will go after AD or another FA, not sure who.

I can't see where they have enough to get AD over NY or LA. Those two would have to experience changes of heart and hold back their kids for the Nets to have a viable offer (same with the Clips).

He'd definitely be gone. They aren't going to keep both Kyrie and DLo if Kyrie ultimately does end up signing there. Their skillset is far too similar to make it work on the court. Plus, DLo should get quite a few suitors and should get them some assets back in potential trades.

NY and LA both would have MUCH better to offer. No point in trading away their young players like LeVert and Allen to build around Kyrie and AD if that was the offer. I just don't see how they would pull it off
