Outside of Foles, yes the WRs won't do well with the back up QB
But here's what you are missing.....it doesn't matter who they put at WR/TE. The offense never misses a beat in NE, Pittsburgh, GB, NO, Indy when the QB is healthy.

Is this true for all teams?

yep....99 times outta 100 when you lose the starting QB the team is in big do do

amazing how this group comes up with great conclusions :rolleyes2:
Amazing more than one person (3 maybe?) came to this conclusion.

Try reading again (if anyone needs help, just ask)......The point was no matter who plays WR in Indy, NO, NE, Pittsburgh and Indy the O never misses a beat when the QB is healthy. Can teams with a QB ranked 10-20 say the same?

As a long term GB fan, overall I would say they have not wasted Rodgers. One Super Bowl may not be enough but watching all those wins in the reg season(100 and counting) for the last 11 years has been great. His era(and Favre's) has been a fun time for the Cheesehead Brigade

I get what you are saying but I wouldn't go so far as to say those teams don't miss a beat. Brees wasn't as good when teams blanketed Thomas and shut him down last season. Ben had the luxury of two top notch WRs. Without AB, if Juju were to miss some games, Ben would struggle a little. I do agree it's not the same as the teams with average QBs though. Just not how you posted it.

I do think they are good WRs, but take a look at what AB did when Big Ben didn't play. Point was those teams change WRs/TEs every year and it doesn't matter. Sure, there might be games where they struggle, but as a whole (for the season) their passing games will be among the best.

It does matter who the WR/TE is cause of of the offenses scheme. Every offense hits bumps throughout the season but the top 15 QBs lessen the bumps. GB has drafted enough quality talent that a top 3 QB in Rodgers should have had more than 1 app in the SB.

I would make the case that GB had a good enough offense to make multiple Super Bowls but did not have the defense to accomplish the job.

Being a Seattle fan you should know that he would’ve made another SB if not for the botched onside kick against your team. NFC title game 2015.

The defense has slacked off a bit but that was never always the case. I would say at least 3/4s of his career he's had a very good to above avg D. The last couple of years does seem like a horror film for the D coach.

Maybe he should have made a few more plays and that botched on side would never have happened.

All I can remember(because I don't feel like going through every game). is that it seemed the defense lost more games than the offense.

I guess that depends on how you rank a defense?
Since 2008 the year AR became the starter. PFF has them ranked anywhere from 2 to 26 for team defense during any given year.

Or someone that gets paid to catch a football should catch a football.

Now according to you guys Rodgers isn’t allowed to play close games, in a conference title game no less. Got it.

Rodgers derangement syndrome is real... Seek help.

You have access to better stats than I do. I can only talk about general remembrances. The Packer D has been an area of concern since before Capers. They have had some decent to great seasons from individuals but it never seemed to me to be a great team.

BTW, what year were they #2?

Of course, blame the WRs again.
Rodgers was 19-34 178yds. 1TD and 2Ints
7 missed throws in the 4th Q alone

Have the balls for once to call out your QB for sucking

I'm not saying Rodgers has lost them all on his own but the point is he's had plenty of weapons yet never his fault for the losses.

Playing one of the best defenses of that era on the road... in a conference title game for crying out loud. Not to mention defending champs. Bottom line is if the onside kick goes like it goes 99% of the time the Packers are in the SB.

As a GB fan you should certainly know football is a three phased game. Better balance and coaching. One play should not decide a game. Don't allow your team or the refs get you into that position.

Except one play decides a game all the time, every single day, in every single sport.

Cute words of wisdom though.
