If they trade for CP3 and Capella, they won't have space to sign Middleton.
They will, because if they get CP3 and Capella's bird rights that come with his contract, they'll be able to sign Middleton under an MLE.

Besides, if Middleton will decide to leave MIL, the Bucks have no reason what so ever not to "help" Middleton and the Magic because they are also targeting Voucevic (who in return wants to play with his co-national and kid friend Mirotic), it therefore may be that both teams "help" their FAs to the destination they prefer.

And why the hell would Middleton sign for the MLE?

If the Magic are his preferred destination (Orlando is less than 3hrs by car from his home) he will... Besides, as I said before, a mutual "sign and trade" between the Magic and the Bucks is not impossible, because Voucevic wants to play with his co-national and kid friend Mirotic (they are the only two from Montenegro in the NBA and were playing together when kids and teenagers) and then, if a mutual "sign and trade" is achieved, both players will carry exceptions with their new contracts.

Additionally, Hammond is the mentor of Horst (Horst was his assistant before Hammond left MIL in order to take over the Magic) and the two GMs know very well how to do business together. Further more, Hammond is the one that has helped Middleton's career more than anyone and Middleton has excellent relations with him... It's no secret that Hammond keeps and eye on Middleton (and on Giannis too) but then, he ain't the only one...

Anthony Davis Unlikely To Relent On Trade Request

As expected, someone give the memo to that Bucks fan
Unless one can read the article which is written in English (which I doubt you can understand) the only safe conclusion that be made out of the article is that the "Pelicans won't trade Davis this off-season but neither until this Febs trade deadline"... Instead, they hope to convince him to stay by having a successful season with him and Zion on the floor, along with Jrue Holiday and the other additions they intend to make... Which is exactly what I was also predicting will happen.

"Goal" is an intention, doesn't mean that they intent to pay Middleton a max... That is if one can read in English (which I doubt with you)...

Read the article. Like I have said before they arent offering him $90 less than the max lolzzz

Hahaha you have gone off the deep end kid. You also said they had the cap to get Kyrie or Kemba. You are one delusional idiot.

It's you that is the idiot... of course they have the cap to add Kyrie or Kemba out of free agency... They can get an MLE for one of them if they keep Davis.

Ok. You have posted some really stupid stuff.

This might just take the cake.

The standard MLE for teams under the luxury tax line is projected to be about 9.2 million

The taxpayer MLE is projected at 5.7

If you actually believe that Kyrie or Kemba (or Middleton) are turning down a supermax/max contract to sign an MLE in New Orleans (or anywhere) of all places, then I just don't know what to say to that. That is next level right there.

Stop spewing garbage and people might start taking you seriously. Each time you put that shovel in the ground though, you make it harder and harder.

Ryan Hollins isn't a player anymore though.

He is a TV personality getting paid to speak about his opinion on current players in the NBA and other sports too.

Just about everybody in the league is a better player than Ryan Hollins was. At least he has a background as a professional athlete. Guys like Stephen A and Bayless make the same types of comments and they are less qualified to judge an NBA player than Hollins is.

I'm not sure you have a clue on the matter...

They only two contracts they have under cap space are Hill and Moore who both are expiring this season (therefore easy to move for salary fillers) and they bought 4x2nd round picks (2 really good ones out of the Wizzards and another 2 that were Bucks own) from the Bucks, so that they can dump their salaries and move them this season and buy back more exceptions.

Additionally they have another 3.5M of trade exception out of Mirotic they can use to extend their cap space and the exception to extend and resign Randle...

All they have to do is take care of the sequence of their moves and they'll pay no or very little tax this season...

In fact I suggested Kemba or Kyrie because this is all we knew that is available out free agency this season and because they need an experienced PG to add next to Holiday, Zion, Randle and Davis. They may be better off if they look to buy CP3 or other option that may come up this season, combine it with dumping the salaries of Hill and Moore and they'll not pay a penny of lux tax before they hit 132M of salaries in their books.

Good lord. Middleton's probably going to make a contract between $22-$30 mil per year, yet you think he's going to sacrifice to stay in Milwaukee to make $5 mil per year?

You're unbearably naive.

Jesus. Fuck.

I'm literally rooting next year for Giannis to win unanimous MVP and break every record along the way while winning a title next season.

Ryan Hollins was the Skip Bayless of basketball. A guy who saw garbage time and occasionally got a bucket.

Man.....this guy really thinks Middleton's going to sign a MLE and bypass a huge fucking contract; which will likely be his last big contract in the NBA. I've never seen a homer like it.
