Reed the F tweets underneath!

Besides, the link that Hill provided (the official announcement of the Kings) was days before... Hill tweeted it on the 4th of July because he got engaged that date!

Still doesn't say that he signed anything.

You know why?

Because he couldn't.

I would keep CP and trade Capela or Gordon

Much easier contract to trade and he isn't out of his prime yet either

Why are the Rockets talking about trading Capella like they need to blow it up?

No team has come closer to beating the KD Warriors in either season. They failed to beat a team that most thought to be unbeatable.

I get that the KD injury changed the complexion of that series, but damn. Stay the course and they could be title favorites next year.

Of course he could! He asked to be waived by the Jazz after the negotiations he had with them failed and signed with the Kings which could sign him because they were not a playoff team that season.

No, he couldn't. There is a 1 week moratorium that runs from July 1st through July 6th.

Teams and players can negotiate, agree to terms and even have the contracts drawn up and ready to go. But no one can sign anything until July 7th.

Free agency opens at midnight July 1st. The moratorium ends at midnight on July 7th. Therefore, midnight on July 7th is the earliest a player can physically sign the contract.

Because it may be the only chance the have to move CP3's contract if they attach Capela with him as to sweeten CP-3's contract.

THE KINGS COULD SIGN ANY F.A. BEFORE JULY THE 1st, because they were not a playoff team.

You don't read what you quote on, do you?

Nobody taking 60 some million a year in salary for those 2

Capella is a system big who was just exposed in the playoffs.

That is not true at all.

Orlando Magic will gladly take it... especially if they loose Vucevic in free agency and then get involved in a 3-team trade in which they'll pay a pick added to another one coming from the Rockets and achieve to move Mozgov's (expiring next season) contract.

it is with the old CBA which was still active until the 30th of June 2017.

Please.

Find one FA agent signing that has taken place in June.

You can't.

Then they are stupid.

But then again, the Magic have made some pretty stupid moves over the last few years.

Wrong.

They could make trades, but they can't sign free agents. No one can.

You could with the old CBA, but it rarely happened because usually FAs don't want to sign with non playoff teams.

Actually these days are over after they hired John Hammond as their GM... If they add CP3 and Capela and also achieve to get Khris Middleton (who wants to be there because he is 3 hours distance from his family by car) they'll end up a 2nd round playoff team for next season.

@buckalis is very upset right now and continues to prove he does not know how the NBA works. Also, to point out, his baby Bucks couldn't live up to expectations

If they trade for CP3 and Capella, they won't have space to sign Middleton.
