How do you get dehydrated in 72° weather and you're sitting in the bullpen most of the game.

Definitely a head scratcher.

I was looking at some of the mock drafts this morning. I saw Texas Tech 3B, Josh Jung, sitting at 15 on one of them. I read about him and was thinking I wouldn't mind having him, and I remembered he used to be ranked higher in mock drafts. Now, I read Keith Law's latest mock has the Rangers picking Josh Jung with the 8th pick.

We need a good solid infield minus short stop. I like Guzman but he has not proved he can hit for a 1stB. Odor is not the 2B we need and we don't have a 3B. IKF is not what we need at C. The OF has Gallo but we need a good CF and Maz has to improve if we keep him. We need almost every thing IMO. Sell Sell Sell.

I'm hoping Taveras, Thompson and JPM is our future outfield. Taveras is playing well this season. Don't know about Thompson and JPM.

We definitely have a lot of needs. If we play our cards right and trade off some pieces in a few weeks, we will be a lot closer to the goal than we have been in a long time. We need a good year of development, a very good draft and a very good trade season. Then we need to do those three things again next year. We should start acquiring some good free agents in the next two offseasons as well.

The biggest part of the development I was referring to is in the minors. Other than Calhoun I didn't expect much progress in anyone who would be on the big league roster except maybe IKF. Calhoun has developed.

Thompson got hurt early on. JPM struggled mightily, but he has started to come out of it.
