This Raptors team is WAY better than last year's. Kawhi is leading this team and putting them on his back when necessary. He (and Green) were traded for the "star" of last year's Raptors, Mr Midrange DeRozan, who failed for the Spurs instead this year. Siakam has really emerged, they added Marc Gasol, etc.

It's going to end in a Raptors victory, most likely on Saturday night. Giannis has been contained and nobody else is stepping up to make up the difference.

Lowry's playing better in the playoffs. Toronto traded Rozan for Kawhi (huge upgrade). Siakam has taken a major leap in development and has planted himself as the 2nd/3rd option on this team. And Green is an added role player (who's struggling right now). And they added Gasol. This is not anywhere near the same Toronto team from last year.

Why aren't you sold on them? They had the best record, best player in the east, great coach. Deep team. They will be near the top next year too unlike Toronto when KD and Giannis are ruling the east

They have shown for the last 3 games why I'm not sold on them.

I'm sold on them. Giannis will get his time but not this year. Like Shaq says "you have to fail first before you succeed" bucks only shot against dubs

Right. I never said I'm not sold on them ever being a contender, making the finals, etc.

In my original quote, that I posted on the playoffs thread (and was questioned about there too lol) was "I'm not sold on them...yet."

So, it's not that I won't ever be sold on them or don't think they have a bright future. But I'm not sold on them right now.

I wasn't sold on the bucks only because of the refs. Reffing the games every game not cause they're not good enough lol but I get what you're saying

"way better"? Last year's team won 60+ and was the #1 seed. Only lost to Lebron and the Cavs who no one had beaten for 4 years in the East.

I think you lost sight of the discussion...was Cavs vs. Bucks not Toronto vs Toronto. Your last line shows why Cavs were better....Lebron could not be contained.

Cavs better than Bucks? Only at the best player of each team IMO.

Thye Raptors are double and triple teaming Giannis and the strategy is working.

If the Bucks would figure out that turning the ball over at the end of the games is a killer, they'd have something. Since that idea hasn't come to them, they lose close games like last night...and it will continue to haunt them until they figure it out.

The Bucks problem is that when Giannis is neutralized they have no answer. Nobody steps up.

I think Love last year was better than anyone not named Giannis on the Bucks. Though I do like Middleton....and Lebron's playoff performance last year was far better than Giannis against Toronto so far.

Um, they started calling us Lebronto lol. They beat the fucking shit out of the Raptors.

That was the DeMar DeRozan Raptors. The Kawhi Leonard Raptors would beat the fucking shit out of the DeMar DeRozan Raptors too.

Thye Raptors are double and triple teaming Giannis and the strategy is working.

As great a player as Giannis is, his game is still evolving (which is scary). One of the things he needs to work on is passing.

The double and triple teaming is working because he keeps trying to beat the defense himself because he's not great at passing it back out when he drives.

He's not a good outside shooter either.

Just saying bucks were #1 on defense, #3 on offense. Raptors were 4th and 6th where were the cavs in the top 5 in each?

@tlance now that this series is going at least 6 games, I can say I'm satisfied with the playoffs. The first round was ok, 2nd round was epic, and now the conference finals is good as well.

Just hope the finals don't let me down. Would like to see that be a 6 or 7 game series as well

Could happen.

Not counting on it though.

I'm being a Prisoner of the Moment, I guess, but anyone still think this Bucks team is far better than last year's Cavs?

Yeah, I get this Raptor team is better but Cavs blew their doors off. I think many focused too much on supporting casts and forgot that Lebron fellow was pretty good and factored in the discussion.

Yes.

So are the Raptors.

The other thing is that the Raptors have strangled the life out of the Bucks with amazing defense 1-5.

The 2018 Cavs were not very good defensively.
