Be afraid.
Both of those were a hell of a lot closer to the NCAA’s purview than Declan Sullivan
Explain exactly how

As much as it seems it should be neither the UNC nor Penn State situations fell within the purview of the NCAA. UNC received discipline from their accreditation organization and Penn State was penalized civilly.
Why am I laughing at thisThe NCAA are pussies. Like beating up kids or something.

A lot of people will disagree with you about UNC's academic fraud not falling under the NCAA's jurisdiction. They essentially created a phony major and program of studies to make it easier for their student athletes to maintain academic eligibility.
The student athletes did not get any special treatment that wasn't available to the general student body, thus it's not an NCAA issue.
So boosters can pay every recruit $100,000 to play football for their school as long as they throw $10 at some random student in the dorms? The student athletes did not get any special treatment that wasn't available to the general student body, thus it's not an NCAA issue.
That's lawyer talk.
Common sense says they created a fake course of studies specifically for their student-athletes. The fact that they ensnared non-athletic students into it just shows that they knew exactly what they were doing.
