How is Oregon favored when they have a Tim Couch clone as their QB? “Scouts” hype him up but he doesn’t accomplish anything? Josh Rosen is a bust but at least he was good in college. Herbert has only been good against Oregon’s trash opponents and 1 lucky game against your Mutts.

33|1 isn't exactly 'favored'. It's just less not favored than anyone else in this horrible conference.

Well UW and WSU are both breaking in new QBs...easier to favor the known quantity.

I get that. I think that's factoring in a lot with trying to project the 2019 PAC.

That being said. Two things that I see as the big challenges for Ducks this year.

1) Ducks face their toughest schedule in years. They will be tested on the road bigtime.

2) They"ll be throwing alot of that freshman class out there. It was a class loaded with highly rated players, but still, Ducks are going to have a lot of young players out there this year, while also breaking in a new DC.

I'd never put it past Mike Leach to get a strong performance out of his QB.

He could probably go to a grocery store and find someone who can put up 4,000 yards in his offense.

Have any Presidents or Chancellors every go on record saying he has done a good job? I know a bunch of coaches have taken swipes at him, a few AD’s have tip toed the line but what are they seeing that no one else sees? It is nice that women sports and non revenue sports now get television time but as a commissioner your primary job is to improve the conference, not letting ESPN and Fox tell the conference what to do and putting them on par with the MWC and all the other lower FBS conferences.

And I don’t get how the Presidents and Chancellors are such smart people yet so dumb. Yes, his lines of he does two jobs and he is bringing in more revenue than ever are technically true. But both of his jobs he is in charge of have been massive failures since he took the job. And anyone of us could’ve been given his job and could’ve brought in more revenue with the last tv contracts.
