Ok so posting in the CFB (where I’m at everyday) and responding when you tag me is stalking?

Seems to me you’re feeling a bit defensive and insecure. I must be terribly threatening to you.

The problem with UCF fans is their demand that they be considered on the same level as Florida, Florida State, Bama, Georgia, Texas, Southern Cal, Notre Dame, OU, Clemson, etc, etc. The truth is they're more on the level of Georgia Tech, Washington State, Oklahoma State, Arizona State, etc. That's not a bad thing but screaming about "getting respect" sounds like entitlement to most fans and it turns people off. They need to STHU, play really tough games on the road for a few more years, win most of those games and then they would have a legitimate right to ask for the moon and stars.

What are you talking about? They’ve been better than Florida, FSU, ND, Texas, and USC the past few seasons.

They have been good although it’s close with Notre Dame who’s finished 4-8, 11th, and 5th (playoff appearance) these past few seasons. UCF was 6-7, 6th, and 11th.

I’d love to see them play UF. That would be a great game. I understand both teams’ position on the 2-1. Still a shame it’s not going to happen.

Yeah but ND gets mad favoritism from the media. UCF has been handcuffed solely for playing in the AAC.

I could agree with you if they played Fla,FSU,ND,Texass and USC schedules. Until they “schedule” up they are an afterthought IMO

They more than held their own against top competition in bowls. Meanwhile those teams you mentioned all lost to far inferior teams the games they did lose. UCF never let that happen.

I just have a hard time giving too much credit to a really good team in a trash league as opposed to a really good team playing a power 5 schedule. Not saying they couldn’t compete in a power conference just they’d be 8-4,7-5 type team IMO :suds:

They lost to LSU’s third team in the bowl last season.

But you also have to keep in mind that Notre Dame typically plays a meat grinder of a schedule with last season being a bit of an aberration. It balances out.

And to me they were more of a 10-2 type team in an average Power 5 conference in 2017 and a 9-3 one last season. I think end of year rankings of #6 and #11 were on target.

UCF was missing 1 player, LSU was missing 8.

Remind me who still won?

Ok let’s pretend Clemson still stomps Bama with our Trevor Lawrence since the best player doesn’t matter much. And let’s also stop acting like LSU was out 8 starters.

6 defensive starters were out. Then 2 got ejected. At one point, UCF was going against an LSU defense without 8 starters. You can choose not to believe this but that’s the truth.

An if UCF truly was a top team, they aren’t relying on 1 player. But alas, they weren’t.
