Hoping he doesn’t get the Banny or wash treatment where we run him out there to bash his head against the wall and fail for another 100 games.
Soon, he will have another great 7-8 weeks, and his clock will start all over again. His current slump is about 51 games old, but since 34 of those games were last year they are probably forgotten.

They definitely have been completely forgotten.

Since the Bautista punch, Odor has been the team’s favorite golden child and they are giving him more opportunities than your average player ever gets to succeed.

The second base position has been a massive shit show since Ian Kinsler was traded. Very disappointed with how JD has handled it. The guy really messed this up.

Not all JD. I remember how everyone on this board was wanting Odor when he was in MILB. Part of the blame had to be on Banister and a big portion on Odor himself. Right now Woody has to let JD know he wants a change.

Sorry bro. It’s an off day and I’m just venting my frustrations.

He hasn’t made it any easier on me. He needs to contribute or do something positive, he’s so worthless right now. The guy hasn’t done anything since he got back and his average is approaching .130

I know this board likes to make fun of Chris Davis from time to time, but Davis’s average is about .50 higher than odor. That’s how freaking bad he’s doing.

I just want to see some movement or a change because the fans shouldn’t be subjected to this garbage.

I’m sorry about the odor talk, but since Leclerc has been demoted, Odor is the biggest problem on the team right now that needs addressing.

You've said this same thing at least a dozen times, its old hat, we get it, you don't like Odor

Scott Lucas had this to say:

"Alexy walked the leadoff batter in the 3rd and immediately called for the trainer. He didn't seem to be in any discomfort before his final pitch. Beyond that, I wouldn't want to speculate."

Scott also spoke about our 2 newest TJ patients:

"I heard an ugly rumor a few days ago, and the professional media confirmed it: 2018 2nd-round RHP Owen White will undergo (or already has undergone) Tommy John surgery. 4th-round pick Mason Englert underwent the same procedure last month. Neither will pitch in a real game until well into his third professional season.

As to how this reflects on Texas's new program of breaking in last year's top picks... Well, superficially it looks terrible, of course. I've barely commented on Texas's much more cautious approach because it's far outside my area of semi-expertise. I do know about probability, variance and sample sizes, though. Is it possible that White and Englert destined for the same fate regardless? It sure is. Could Texas's terrible luck in this regard be just that: luck? It sure could. The number of TJ surgeries within the system over the last few years is above the league average, but not by that much. Until someone can point to something specific that's causing this rash of injuries, I'm inclined to blame them on fortune."

I hope we don't select another HS pitcher with our top pick in a few weeks.

There is something wrong with the way the Rangers organization handles pitchers. It seems like Tampa Bay and Oakland produces good pitching. I would hire somebody from one of those organizations to be pitching coordinator.

I’ve been saying for years that we should steal someone from Oakland or the San Francisco Giants.

They seem to really know pitching in the Bay Area.

I haven't looked at it in awhile, but I know at one time, many of those Oakland pitchers didn't do as well after they left Oakland. Part of their success may.be that park. Like I said, I haven't looked into it in awhile. When I did, Zito was not far removed from playing there, so it has been awhile.

This is the young kid I mentioned a few days back, the one who skipped two levels.
