It's a tale as old as time.

Boy meets girl.
Boy has sex with girl.
Boy realizes the girl is related to him.
They both ride dragons into an epic battle against the undead!

And some other stuff happens....
Really? This seems exactly like the story line for Terms of Endearment

Personally I am very upset with HBO with shaping Dany to become the crazy evil queen. As one of the more attractive major female characters on the show she can only do good.

It's sort of slowly been building thru the entire series though. She's always had a bit of a brutal streak in her. And as she's drawn closer to the Iron Throne (literally by getting closer to Westeros), its starting to show more and more. Basically, she'll do anything for the Iron Throne, which doesn't make her any different than what she's claimed she's fighting against, which is what those brutal streaks have been hinting at. But what I think its building up more to is she's ulimately gonna have to choose; the Iron Throne or Love. And "love" could mean multiple things like physically to Jon Snow or a "love of her people" by sacrificing herself in some way to ensure a greater peace.

I rewatched Ep2 again last night and it had me thinking about how unpleased most of us are with where Dany is going. But I kind of feel like many of us have been here before with her. Maybe not as drastically, but they have always paid proper homage to the “daughter of a mad man” angle. She’s always been a complex character who has both a strong negative and positive side. They’ve done an excellent job earlier in the show highlighting how she has been able to resist that negative side ultimately due to listening to the excellent advice around her.

As the show has progressed and the throne has gotten closer she has gravitated harder and harder to the negative side. Where miscalculations from advisors were more accepted and forgiven in the past, they are more critical now. How can we be pissed at the writers for giving us exactly the character they always have.

With hindsight.....we’ve always been prepared that she is a character we could love, but one who could also do a “heel turn” as easily as she could stay good and beloved.

With this hindsight....she is being presented just how she has been written.

After the book material ran out, G.O.T. has been destroyed by a bunch of cuck writers and cuck fans.

There will be a woman on the throne in the end, I'll bet my daughter on it. Also, all men will lose their cocks, via the night queen, so there can be no more raping, only cunnilingus.

That's way further than I'd go but it is pretty clear the writers really suck at writing good female characters unlike GRRM. George's Arya is a great character. Whatever the fuck the GoT writers turned her into now is a shit show. Nothing about her makes any god damn sense.

What they did with Lyanna Mormont is pretty painful to watch too and I'm not sure what they hell they were thinking with Sansa. She looks like she's going to be a big player right at the point where they deviate from the books, then she just gets sold and raped and eventually withholds valuable information from Jon about the Vale army that easily could have gotten him killed. The Sand Snakes and Alaria also sucked ass.

I guess they've been bad writing almost everybody but the females really stick out because they're just trying WAAAAY too hard with them.

But what do you expect? These guys don't even know that Dickon Tarly is Sam's YOUNGER brother, they fucked that up in the behind the episode in week 1.

It’s good that it is going out at this point. The writers were marvelous at adapting a work to screen, but they are far more underwhelming at original writing.

YouTube threw this at me while cooking dinner.

I’m not a book reader....so I’ve only heard tell of the Horn of Winter from others (probably book readers) and it’s really not been paid any credence by the show writers.

They teased the hell out of the crypts last week. We know SOMETHING is coming from there or happening there. It would be bad form to just have the horn show up now....but I still hope it does.

Ultimately, she'd still have plenty of power as the queen though.

i have a new theory on Sam and the books he stole from the citadel. in one of the first conversations sam had with jon, was when sam wouldn't fight and sam said he always wanted to be a magician.

flash forward to the season 8, ep 2 and sam all of a sudden has this calm about him. he's not scared. he gave away his level 4 sword. but there he is in one of the final scenes with jon on top of the castle wall with this bit of majesty about him. Sam has changed.

the guy has a fire spell to use on the white walkers that he will use at the last moment, when it appears winterfell is lost. one spell that does enough damage to save winterfell and allow the remaining survivors to regroup for the final 3 episodes.

I also think the Night King is after baby sam. that baby is one that got away and the NK wants him back.

on bronn. i watched season 7, the episode where dany took out jamie's army after the tulley battle. when bronn saved jamie from being torched by the dragon and they fell into the water and were supposed to drown.

the opening of the very next episode was bronn dragging jamie out of the water onto the beach. jamie says he thought for sure he was dead. and bron said something to the effect:

"You can't die by dragon fire. Only I get to kill you." hhmmmmmmm. and now bron has been paid to kill jamie and Tyrion. My guess is Bronn does him.

Got into a GoT dead pool at work for episode 3... pick 5 and highest total correct wins.... seems like there will be tie to me... too many people in and only 5 possible scores.

There's another weird theory about Sam having some green dragon glass out there and it having some healing properties.

Just really wonder who they have the cajones to kill off at this point? Trying to think of who would be expendable that wouldn't tick anyone off if they died at this point...

Beric and Jorah seem obvious.
