So we lose Jake and Ghost off of the current team and add Karlsson Panarin and Kakko.

The 'insiders' seem to think Panarin is going to Florida. Obviously can't guarantee that, but I'd be shocked if he doesn't based on the reports. I don't even really consider him an option at this point.

BUT, if he were, and the Flyers were able to do as you suggest, yes, they'd be better with Karlsson, Panarin, and Kaako.

Alright here's one for you guys.. Kadri for Gostisbehere. Both had kinda down years. Both are signed around 4.5M for a few more years. Basically moving D for C.

I think I would consider that one. Kadri would be a pretty good 2C option, had 30+ goals in 16-17 and 17-18. Plays PP and PK.

Leafs are loaded up front but need D-men and need them to be on good contracts.

I would love to add Marner. I’d trade anyone on the roster for him except MAYBE Couturier and Hart. Mostly because of the positions they play.

Honestly I’m not that worried about the Leafs as a major threat. Until they navigate this off-season, get their young talent signed, and find some defensemen, other teams worry me more. Reilly can’t play 45 minutes a night.

The Devils have some good young players. Ditto the Canes. And if Florida really does get Panarin and Bob they’re going to be a major problem. Obviously very high on the Bolts too, even though they’re struggling at the moment.

Watching these playoff games makes me kinda sad. These teams look bigger, faster, and more talented than the Flyers :/. Some of it I think is how direct they’re playing (SJ/VGK at the moment), but man oh man, these games look like they’re on another level. Maybe it’s just playoff hockey..

Afternoon boysJust a hypothetical question to throw at you. What would you do, not the Flyers brass, if Dandstrom becomes a stud and dominates at the AHL? Would we keep both Hart and Sandstrom or trade Sandstrom down the road as a bigger trade? I know I'm getting ahead of myself, but my gut tells me Hextall may have nailed the draft on goaltenders in the future for us.
