As much as I respect Twentyman, he is way off here IMO.

It'll all depend on if we stay at the current draft slots and who's available but I understand where you're coming from.

I thought Smitty got exceptional value with his two picks so far in the SportsHoopla's mock draft by selecting OT Taylor and CB Oruwariye.

You pretty much got them in order of preference. I think Lawrence is out though as I cant see us selecting a NT in the first few rounds.

He's listed your guy Daylon Mack though and I like that kid quite a lot if he's there in rounds 5-6.

Bucky Brooks' top 5 2019 NFL Draft prospects by position 3.0

LINEBACKERS

Pratt is a converted defensive back (spent his first two college seasons at safety) with the speed, quickness and athleticism to create impact plays as a sideline-to-sideline rover. The N.C. State product is a dynamic blitzer with solid skills in pass coverage.

SAFETIES

This group is well-stocked with high-IQ playmakers bringing instincts and ball skills. Abram is a heavy hitter with a knack for getting to the ball. He is an enforcer between the hashes, but exhibits the requisite ball skills and instincts to play in the deep middle, as well. With Abram also flashing blitzing ability and run-stopping skills as a box defender, he is an intriguing puzzle piece to add to a defense. Rapp is a high-IQ deep defender with excellent anticipation, awareness and instincts. He has a knack for getting around the football, which leads to a number of interceptions and deflections in the middle of the field. Savage could be the hidden gem of the group as an A-plus athlete with outstanding speed, quickness and range. He not only displays numbers-to-numbers range as a deep defender, but he's an aggressive run stopper with an enforcer's mentality near the box. Adderley is a natural ballhawk with cornerback-like cover skills. He can check wide receivers and tight ends in the slot or man the deep middle as a pure center fielder in a single-high-safety defense. Although his size is a bit of a concern in run defense, the Delaware star shows enough courage and toughness to be a dependable player in the box. Gardner-Johnson is a high-end slot defender with outstanding instincts, awareness and playmaking ability. He excels at making "bang-bang" hits on the perimeter, particularly when he's sitting in zone coverage on heavy passing downs. With Gardner-Johnson also showcasing natural pass-rush skills on a handful of blitzes, he could be the missing link for a couple of teams searching for a difference maker at the nickelback position.

I still believe that BQ drafts another Safety this year early on (as in Day 2 and depending who's off the board).

Safety is a thin position with the retirement of Quin. Gonna miss that guy. He gave us years of high quality play without ever really getting injured.

Excellent choices, imo. I don't believe you could have gone wrong with any of the three as the pick in the 2nd round.
I'm eyeing Thornhill or Savage with our third/88.

Savage is small, but kinda seems like an easy transition from Glover.

Kaden Smith being in the mix too.

I'd be happy if any of three are there in real life.

Not if Quinnan Williams or Allen also sat at 6. Outside of Murray I am not a big fan of any qb in this draft. However, I would have taken him for the votes.
We should vote on 2017's Mock when we finish this one.

I think that'd be fun. Two years is enough to write off a lot of picks or see their value.

Sackmaster Supreme, Sutton Smith sounds stuckwith special teamS.

Sixth sor seventh?

Definitely worth a late round pick. Type of player MP likes. He can play multiple roles in the hybrid defense and is very productive. I doubt MP cares that he is a hair short. Especially if he can develop into a WILL.

I don't believe you could go wrong with whichever one happens to be there (if either/one are available). Thornhill gives you an emergency outside presence as a No.2 having started out as a CB. Thornhill also has a little bit of size advantage but I don't think that is a detriment to Savage by any means. Imo, Thornhill's tackling has issues at times when comparing the two. Both obviously need to develop better route recognition/diagnosing skills but I'd give Savage the advantage here. Both have very good footwork when transitioning but I'd give Savage the advantage here also due to his slightly better fluidity in his hips/ankles. jmo.

3rd seems a bit early to me but we all view differently. He's a damn good blocker like Sample or Moreau but Chryst probably used him more often receiving than the aforementioned. I assumed Smith, Moreau and Sample were relatively close in round grading and I thought 5th was starting point for any of them. Stick to your assessments and beliefs.

PFF's top-15 off-ball linebackers in the 2019 NFL Draft | NFL Draft news and analysis | Pro Football Focus

1. LB Devin White, LSU
No linebacker in college football had a higher grade in coverage than White’s 91.6 last season. His freakish athleticism suggests it was no fluke.
