I repeat. So sports reference is the official records of the NCAA?

Filling in for a head coach on suspension does not make you a head coach. It’s like calling a substitute teacher a full fledged teacher.
And what reference are you using as the “official record” other than your opinion, that gives you that Day is 0-0?

It’s the first time since Tressel left that cracks have formed in their armor.

althonsports.com (1-9-19) Early BigTen Football Predictions- dispite the transition from Urban Meyer to Ryan Day, the Buckeyes are still the favorite to win the BigTen next fall

collegefootballnews.com (1-30-19) BigTen 2019 Pre-Spring Rankings, Depth Chart Projections, Biggest issues

The article picked Ohio State to win the BigTen East.

Of course you'll just ignore it & make your own reality up.

When they lost to Tech but the Red Raiders have made it all to the Championship game. Virginia fans should be nervous but I hope the Cavaliers win.

There were cracks last year. Most notably losing to Purdue by 30 and looking like shit against Minnesota, Michigan State and Maryland and they still ran Michigan's ass outta the shoe and it probably should have been worse than what it was. Also, you still talked alot previous off-seasons.

Dude, I usually will call the buck nuts and their program out here for a lot. But in this case you’re dead wrong. He is 3-0. He was the head coach for those 3 games. No matter what you want to believe.

MSUs lowest score of the season before today was 62. They scored only 51 on Tech. Only 7 more points than UM scored....
One team had the score close late, the other was getting blown the fuck out the whole game.

Then I'll ask again. Could he have kicked kids off the team? Fired staff? Awarded scholarships? Offered recruits? If the answer is no, then he wasn't head coach. Just because he stood in to call plays while Urban was suspended doesn't make him a head coach and incorporate everything that goes along with being one. He was already the OC. So he probably continued to call the offensive plays and whoever was OSU's DC at the time likely took total control over defensive play calling. Awarding him head coaching wins for that is ridiculous; and I'd say that for any temporary head coach who wasn't filling in for someone during a suspension. If Uban is still there, he's head coach. If he got fired, then we can have a different discussion. Urban was even allowed to meet with the team and coaches prior to his suspension - come on.

Not really. Most years I'm pretty grim about our chances against them.

What cracks?
Trading one of the best coaches in CFB to ever have coaches for someone with no experience in that department and one of the worst recruiting classes in the last two decades.

Still can't help but laugh at your dogging of our class that was only small due to space, but was still higher quality than michigan's. If anything, that's a good sign for this year, because it means we're returning a lot of guys from a team that finished 3rd in the nation.

michigan could beat OSU this year, and in all honesty they should. New coach, new QB, game at michigan. Let's see if you guys manage not to blow it this year, because from a talent standpoint, it's still clearly OSU at the top of the B1G.

You've beaten them, what once in the last 15 years? You should be, but that hasn't stopped you in previous off-seasons.

There's been a few years here and there but I'd argue most of the time I haven't.

So if you guys lose to us again this year, what will the collective excuse for the program be as to why Harbaugh isn't on the hot seat?

I don't judge an entire season based on a single game. I'm in the, "if you build it, they will come" mentality. If Harbaugh keeps winning 10 games a year we'll eventually get the wins we need.

I guess if you're fine with 10 wins, no division/conference titles and no playoff trips, that's on you. Enjoy the Outback Bowl.
