Props to you for staying up or waking up to catch the game.

I'm so into my routine that I'd completely mess up my entire next day if I tried to watch it.

There's a method to the madness. We're heading to Disneyland for spring break in a little over a week - but our son has a fund raiser for his taekwondo on Saturday - and we check in on Sunday. So, I'm trying to adjust my sleeping hours so I can drive through the night and make the 18 hour drive in one shot. So, I'm stay up til 4 am each morning and sleeping for a few hours, as long as I'm up before noon. Not what was originally planned, but sometimes plans change and you have to adjust.

So.... no rebuild then?
It sure doesn't feel like it now.

I’ve gone on the record saying it wasn’t a rebuild with all the moves he got that constructed the offense. The pitching staff as a whole to me is a staff for a tanking team but the offense has too much talent for the definition of a rebuild

The NFL will never catch on in Europe and I agree with the absurdity of those games. Not sure what the attendance numbers are for those games, but those who attend are probably Americans in the city or the few locals who actually keep up with the NFL. When I was in Rome, the only places that showed the playoffs were the American bar and an Irish bar. Only people in those bars were Americans.

I can understand the MLB doing a couple of games in Japan though. There is actually a legitimate market for professional baseball there, and these events might have the effect of increasing interest in MLB.

Disagree to an extent about the NFL in Europe. My in laws moved to Ireland two years ago and somehow that entire country is Seahawks fans. Generally the problem with NFL Europe is it was like the AAF now and the real NFL teams going over there have kind of put on a shitty product.

5) Domingo Santana, LF
6) Omar Narvaez, C

Looking forward to watching again this morning, as I don't think I'll get to see many more of these games this year (no Root)

Looking at Gordon lead off and just have to wonder if he'll make it to double digits in walks this season?

I always looked at the #3 hitter as the best hitter in the line up, is that really Jay Bruce?

Kikuchi has the M's first scoreless 1st inning of the season. He didn't look bad.

Kikuchi's stuff looks good. That fastball really pops after the curveball and biting slider.

Beckham still has perfect OBP.
It’s refreshing.

M's take the lead on Healy's 2-Run laser to left field.

Have a feeling like the A’s pitcher are not ready for the start of the season. These HRs are tagged.

I'm enjoying Griffey's banter - but that isn't surprising.

They were saying that Estrada hadn't pitched in a week, and he's throwing a high percentage of strikes. He's been lucky that there hasn't been 1 or 2 other shots yet - cause Encarnacion popped a pitch right through the sweet spot.

It’s nice to see him there. Kinda surprising tbh.

Second favorite player - but probably my favorite personality....

Kikuchi's outing is reminding me of Eric Bedard. Good stuff, solid pitches, lots of pitches....

Maybe it’s me but Ken look like he lost a lot of weight. Skinnier than I remember during his 2nd stint with the M’s.
