Never know where these guys have people ranked until the aftermath. Or even if they are going to draft a need like you mentioned or go BPA strategy. To be quite honest. I don't think most of the GM's even know who they will draft until it's their pick. Humans can be emotional and just make gut decision picks at the last moment. I remember a story where Millen was dead set on taking Demarcus Ware and somebody talked him into Mike Williams at the last second.

Mel Kiper was basically the only guy who liked BMW :gaah: and you know Millen loved Kiper. I was drooling over Shawne Merriman that draft. Think Butler goes late first.

Heart issue was found with Montez Sweat, it is unclear if this one is considered dangerous, or more of a Star Lotulelei type deal.

Not sure how many fans remember this but Kiper had us taking Brady Quinn over Calvin Johnson as well. I remember wanting Joe Thomas.

Pretty concerning. The fact that football is so demanding. I was open to Lions picking him 8th if they deemed him to be the best prospect at the time but the heart condition would have me worried.

I saw this one. It was a good breakdown. Not sure why everyone was freaking out about the dude running around some cones slowly. Only concern with me is the drops that is highlighted in the video.

I am more concerned with how often he pushes off. That will be called in the NFL way more than in college. While he has a lot of physical talent, comparing him to Megatron is farcical. He has an even more limited tree route too. And that is saying a lot considering Calvin only ran 4 routes.

I take it you didn't watch the video since that was exactly what the guy said in the video. When you are that dominate, you only need to run 4 routes. There is no way you can creep safeties up when him and Golladay are both on the field. K. Johnson will have a field day running against 7 man boxes.

If drops were an issue before, Stafford would magnify the problem.

Does it to everyone he throws to.

Like poor Calvin Johnson's precious fingers.

It's 15 minutes long but it's more than worthy of watching in it's entirety.

Al Golden isn't the position coach to help Devin White prosper as an NFL LB.

March Gladness: Recent Evaluations | The Draft Network

I would have no problem with any of these three as additions to the Lions. Winovich had the really good 40 yard dash, 3-cone and short shuttle but you don't see that C.O.D. skillset on the field that you did at the combine from the latter two.

Draft Class Heroes: Strategy For The Multi-Round 1 Pick Teams | The Draft Network

-Joejuan Williams improved his 40 time to 4.55 at his pro day, up from the 4.64 at the Combine. He also notched a 6.84 3-cone at 211 pounds and jumped 36 inches in the vertical and 10-6 in the broad. Not an elite athlete, but still really good numbers across the board for such a big cornerback. I still think he’ll go in the top 100, but the Round 1 hype is dead forever.

BB_72; so should top 2/3 of round 2 be considered dead but I'd still take him in a deep drop down trade nearing those last 8 picks of 2nd round.

3 Best Cornerback Fits For Los Angeles Rams | The Draft Network

Attitude problems and possible work habits problems. TDN has no dog in a fight bringing this to the forefront like some of the rumors put out there in print.

He absolutely cannot handle elite speed or extremely quick twitched route running WR.

1. Deandre Baker, Georgia
The Rams have not shied away from enigmatic personalities before, and I doubt they will do so with Baker. I’ve heard pointed concerns about Baker’s dedication to his craft, demeanor in the locker room and practice habits since mid-college football season, but it sure didn’t seem to impact his play on the field last year.

After struggling with speedier receivers the year before, Baker was lock-down in 2018, staying on top of routes, playing physical and consistently competing for the football in the air. He plays with an edge teams will like, but can bail out against the run and put self-preservation first.

In the Rams culture, learning under Phillips, I don’t think L.A. would be as wary as some other teams about bringing him into the fold. Of course, at some point every organization reaches its’ limit, and having Talib, Peters and Baker in a locker room together might force Phillips into early retirement.

^^^^

How much do you question Baker now @Old Lion even if the Lions were to drop down into the mid/late 20's ?
