@Nosferatu I am leaving tomorrow morning so will probably have to send you some lists tonight for the MLB and NBA.

Make you best judgments, I want to get back from this trip and at least win one out of two lol

Femur asked to be skipped in MLB but said he'd make his NBA picks. So I think it's back to @Pack 500

I probably should've mentioned I took Justice to play in the lefty lineup. I know this is somewhat of a strange call but he has an 850 OPS against lefties and with no bench needed another lefty in the lineup for future pen matchups.

Nice. I've been in a points only one last few years those are gun. We run an NCAA tournament brackets PayPal pool for $20 a piece if anyone is interested. We usually have about a grand in the pot and pay top 3.

The college basketball draft that Ducey was referencing was really fun last year and we are running it back this year. We split the country up into 4 regions like the tourney does and drafted 4 all-time 9-player teams (simultaneously) from colleges located in each region then ran a bracket tournament for each region.

You guys still running that and do you just pick a team with no draft I assume?

The one I'm in drafts but I'm assuming with that many people it is no draft

Last year, and this year again, I'm doing a pretty unique NCAA draft bracket. The basic premise of it is that there are 16 participants, and each are assigned 4 random teams (1 in each region) at the start. It doesn't matter which teams you end up getting because the winner of the game is determined by point spread. The team favored to win must cover the spread in order for the participant to keep their team. If they don't cover but still advance, the opposing manager gets to steal the team as their new owner.

So for example say you a #2 seed and they faced a #15 seed and are favored to win by 15.5 points. If the #2 seed wins by 13 points, the owner of the #15 seed now takes over as the owner of the #2 seed team and advances to the next round. The payouts start to go out incrementally starting with the sweet 16 and increase on a scale all the way to ultimate winner.

It's great because a manager could end up starting with all #1 seeds and not win anything. Or conversely you could be stuck with 4 16 seeds and end up winning the whole thing.
