More trades during the season too this yr, same guys flipping players back and forth now, lol

The new climate of the league, or possibly just a short term trend? not sure, but it's fun

Well after all that buildup that was anti-climactic. Hell that's who everybody thought he was going to all along. Really thought the Jets were going to sign Coleman instead since it would be less money. Although that's only $13,125,000 average per year which is less than the Steelers offered him last off-season. We'll have to see how much of it is guaranteed though.

Odell Beckham rumors proved to be true, Baker has only himself to blame if he can't make it work with Beckham/Landry/Callaway/Perriman - nice group of WRs
Njoku at TE, and now Hunt/Chubb combo at RB

Ca-Ray-Zee!
Browns suddenly a fantasy gold mine, Giants down to Barkley and pray for rain (as they say in MLB)

I guess the question is - can the Browns possibly screw up their trip to the playoffs, this yr and for yrs to come? That is one heck of a lineup - plus they've beefed up the D considerably over the past couple of yrs. ....

Steelers only had 10 mill guaranteed though. I dont blame him for being pissed. Steelers fucked around and pissed off their stars and now they will be passed by the Browns, who are clear favorites to win the division IMO.

think alot of ppl arent sure how to read both these contracts , the steelers and bell. at BEST he got himself a few more guaranteed in the first two years.......he didnt win

"Even though the bad opinion sports media chided the Steelers for not paying Bell, the talented running back turned down a 5-year, $70 million contract from Pittsburgh prior to the 2018 season that would pay him more than $40 million over the first three seasons. Thus, I figured he would want to sign for more than that.

With that in mind, I'm absolutely shocked that Bell accepted this contract. He'll be earning less per year from the Jets on a shorter term than he would've gotten from the Steelers, so you have to question his decision-making. "

Well the Browns certainly have the most offensive talent, but I wouldn't ever say they are the favorites for anything. If anybody can find a way to screw it up, it's Cleveland.

Pitt only offered 10 guaranteed and he got 35 guaranteed from the Jets. While playing for the Jets isnt ideal but overall he got the security he was looking for.

Again? I’ve heard, 10,13,17,33 . Read the espn article on it. Most definitive yet, bell lost.

Tell me, do you feel the Steelers plan was to run him into the ground then cut bait with Bell? Sort of like the Cowboys did Demarrco Murray?

I mean, I agree with you totally. They are a great looking team on paper. They just seem to always find a way to screw things up. It's like that time they won the Super Bowl . . . oh wait, no it's like that time they went to the Super Bowl . . . oh wait . . . it's like that time they completely choked two years in a row in the AFC Championship game against Denver. They are just a franchise that has a hard time with prosperity, they are only happy when they are miserable. Their 0-5 conference title game record and the fact that they have had 3 winning seasons in the last 26 years they've played football is a first sign indicator. They have finished last in their division 13 of the last 16 seasons. Nobody can even come close to holding a candle to the misery of Brown's fans in the last 30 years. At least the Lions got to watch Barry Sanders and Calvin Johnson play.
