Interesting tid bit I heard on the radio this morning, and again I can't find anything to fact check this, and its was all the local Denver guys who claim to have sources within the Raiders organization, but..
At least part, of not the entire reason why the Raiders failed to sign Mack was their lack of cash, not cap space, just actual money on hand. Apparently to sign a player, the full amount of the contract must be set aside, and they didn't have that kind of available cash.

So spin forward to now..unless they get an influx of cash from something, I can't see them seriously being players for Bell, even though they have the cap space. If they didn't have the cash for Mack back then, I highly doubt they have enough for both Brown and Bell now.

Really wish the Davis family would sell the team to people who not only know how to run it, but who can also afford to.

I also heard or read something about the organization not having the cash on hand to sign Mack to a long term deal last yr

I love all the little updates about OBJ maybe being dealt.."the Giants aren't looking for offers, but they're answering the phone". Well no shit, what GM wouldn't answer the phone, regardless of who the player is

yep, and now all the blurbs that mention Bell and the Raiders also mention the cash issue..they're damned near tapped out and still have plenty of space and a draft class..EFF you Davis!!

the coolest ones? Djax and Humphries, virtually guaranteeing a prominent seat at the table for Godwin in TB.

And Djax is a nice bump for Wentz, but nothing crazy

Good signing for them was really hoping the Lions would grab him to go with Johnson.

Glad to see Davis sign with a team. Whole lot of RBs on the FA market. As a Seahawks fan won’t have minded seeing him return to the Seahawks either, he did a good job of it while being on the team.

Think they go WR at either pick? Or do they continue to develop MVS, St. Brown, and Moore, maybe add depth to them in later rounds?

Well, this is very selfish on my part - but wish they'd sign Tate as a Cobb replacement. ....

lol, I was hoping GB'd snag Crowder, but with the lack of consistent/established weapons on the Jets, Darnold could be a good QB + good situation for him after an injury wrecked 2018

They really like St. Brown in the slot and MVS showed promise but hit the wall hard. It all hinges on what they do with Allison IMO

I thought about that as well but money is better spent on defense IMO. Plus im still pissed at Tate and always will be...
