My god Ohio State is just brutal. They were the Gophers first B1G game of the season, shame we played them when they were playing well

They don't have their best player lol. That's their issue this year they have no size beyond Wesson. Their d bag backup center transferred like four days before the season began.

Really torn about how I want this game to end. On one hand, Wisconsin losing always feels good, on the other, an Ohio State loss and we are the 7 seed and play in the evening as opposed to playing at 12:00 on Thursday.

Right, I know they don't have Wesson, but they lost to Purdue by like 30 something, to NW by almost 20 and were losing by 23 early in the 2nd half when I wrote that initially. And wisconsin doesn't blow anybody out like that, that early in the game. That's still pretty bad.

Agreed, but playing at night will make it easier to watch as opposed to trying to stream it on my phone at work. lol.

I actually like our draw. Not that's it's easy, but in terms of trying to advance as far as we can. We've played much better against Purdue/Michigan/Iowa than we have Michigan State/Maryland/Wisconsin(even though we beat them)

Iowa is still safe. But if they lost their first game in the B1G Tournament it wouldn't surprise me to see them as a 10/11. This reminds me of I think 5 years ago, when they slid all the way to the play in game.

I'd way rather be an 11 than a 8/9/10.

Agree, Gophers have no shot at an 8/9(unless we go on a run, but not likely). We are most likely an 11/12/Dayton.

Yeah I like Iowas draw too . Playing Illinois / NW is better than Rutgers or or PSU and we natch up wayyyyyy better vs Michigan than Purdue or MSU

Eh, we greatly exceeded expectations last year and were picked to finish somewhere in the 8-12 range in the B1G this year. It sucks that we couldn't continue the play and success we had early in the year, but we were pretty young (not Duke young) and thin.

If we don't finish top 5 in the conference and ranked next year, I'd start to worry about Holtmann.

Yeah same here for you guys. We've played like shit against Michigan State and Maryland, glad to have them on the other side of the bracket. With all that said, we'll probably lay an egg against PSU and it won't matter. lol.
