I don't really understand freaking out over this...

Keenum is basically an insurance plan to Smith and his leg. He's essentially your backup. While he may not be a good starter, he's a more than capable backup. IMO

This is a good move. The FO can be much more selective with their QB pick in ‘19 (or ‘20) and get the guy they want without giving up the world and trading up. CK is KC lite. He won’t be much better (or worse) than Kirk or Colt.

Everyone should be on board with this pick up given the circumstances and the deal. Outside of those who maybe want us to start Nate “The Great” Sudfeld and roll 0-16 in order to pick up a QB top 5 in ‘20 who may be a total flop...

Add a young stidham in round 3 to groom and we are at least moving forward, at worst stidham is a viable BU.
