If the Cardinals f***ing trade Rosen to the Pats, I will personally spit in Steve Keim's food.

...metaphorically. That would be mean-spirited.

We don't want any of the soft Brittle Pac 10 Qb's that are being produced now Now it was last era with Fouts, Moon,Elway and Aikman, be a different story

he didnt really have much rebuttal to offer.
Everyone saying he will fail doesnt seem to really have any logic besides "hes small"

well, he is. i mean, do you really think someone with his height AND frame is going to be long for the NFL? if you were a betting man, would you bet that he'd become an all-pro, or just some guy in the league at best?

You're a bettor supreme. Bet ya $25.73 he busts. We'll set up some type of statistical/win-loss standard if you care to play.
again, im waiting for your rationale, why you continue to dance

Arizona probably has the worst OL, TE, and WR corps in the league.

Far and away the best scenario is to trade down 2-5 spots, keep Rosen, and get more picks. Murray might be a good QB but not with zero talent around him.

i truly dont know TBH. GUys like brees, wilson, mayfield are succeeding. Rules are changing. Guys who play like mahomes would of failed 10 years ago, and were thought to be reaches in the draft, are now league MVP's. Things are changing. Hes a phenomenal athlete, Im intrigued, but could see it either way.

i'm not buying it. i just don't think he's in the realm of a guy like drew brees, nor will he ever be. at best, he'll be "just a guy". at worst, he'll bust. my opinion.

I tried to bet him and he backed down quick.

The whole thing seems awful strange to me. Why give up on a first round QB that quickly? If Rosen doesn't fit Kingsbury's system, then why in the hell did the Cardinals bring Kingsbury in as coach?

Ah, the season of smokescreens is upon us.

In my humble opinion, I watched Brees at Purdue and Wilson at NC St and Whisky and they had great leader, prove you wrong and tough attitudes. From the little I have seen of Murray, he seems like he thinks he doesn't have to prove shit and if the going gets tough, he might fly the coop and play baseball. Just my 10 cents. 2 cents days are over

whats this, 6-7 posts that you cant back up your comments? i mean its your M.O. on the board, but its a little sad
My M.O. on this board is destroying the weak.

And how am I going to back up a prediction? The only thing I can do is state my reasons (done earlier) and stand by it. Maybe bet on it. Come on. Logic 101 here.

anyone remember goff vs wentz.

goff at 215 was thought to be lanky and frail and an injury risk

wentz at 245 was a big strapping rock

that worked well

cam newton is huge.....that works well

joe flacco is the prototypical size.......that works well

i think its more about playing style.....

again though, no one has a real reason why?

because, assuming this isn't all a smokescreen from Arizona, I don't see any way he can have any success with that franchise. the offensive line is going to take at least 2-3 more seasons to rise up and become adequate enough for ANY quarterback to thrive, let alone an undersized rookie. and, as was mentioned previously, their receiving corps leaves a lot to be desired. And, again, i don't see him becoming a high-end passer from the pocket, which is what he'll need to be, in order to be "big-time", and not just some schlub. i think his instinct to run is too strong, and i'm not so sure that the arizona cardinals will be that team to break that tendency.

Now, if he were to go to a team with a solid quarterbacks coach, a top-shelf o-line, and various legitimate options from the skill positions, then perhaps he excels. but as things now stand, and based off the rumors we're hearing with arizona, i can't see it.

"b-b-b-but why, what's the rationale???"

I got a better idea -> you get out with that "being a dumbass" bullshit, piker.

Sorry if I seem a little bit of a pretzel on this.

But I have seen too many times.

Talented and dedicated players get thrown aside for being too small.

Don't get me wrong. I do like tall, big men, don't take it the wrong way ( the gutterminded way)

But IMHO size is the BIGGEST OVERRATED ASPECT.

Don't believe me. I can give you cases of hockey players who didn't fit the Size mold but when given the opportunity to showcase their talent. They did in droves.

Same for the 2 QBs I have listed
