Really? That surprises me. Seemed like they were racing down the floor and chucking when they were still up big. As it got closer, they were still racing down the floor, but I guess they were just turning the ball over instead of shooting at that point.

I think I saw a stat that said they only took 10 shots in the last 10 minutes of the game, which is hard to do considering the pace of play. They turned it over at an alarming high rate, and could do nothing against the extended 2/3 zone Duke was playing after breaking the press, which wasn't very often. Give credit to Duke, but UL blew that game.

I think as fans, players, coaches, etc, we've all been involved in a game like this at some point. Being so frustrated at getting your ass handed to you, or getting whatever you want anytime you want it. Then in a matter of a few moments momentum turns and no matter what you do it cannot be reversed. I don't know what you say to UofL players to get over this loss, but I sure hope Duke gets the way it played the first 30+ minutes out of their system. That was ugly.

I'm not fully back. I'm only about 85%. Damn flu really took it's toll. Good to be back however!

It was ridiculous.

It was like they had never seen a Full Court Press before.

I've seen teams blow similar leads, but the only thing that compares in terms of literally losing your composure that badly in that short of a time was the Northern Iowa-Texas A&M meltdown.

Yikes. I think even UVA & VT shoot more than that, and we play at snail pace.

Good news! We got PJ Horne back so now we don't have to play 5 guys the entire game anymore. And we won tonight!

The bad news is Robinson is still out with no end in sight and we look absolutely dreadful without him

Good news! We got PJ Horne back so now we don't have to play 5 guys the entire game anymore. And we won tonight!

The bad news is Robinson is still out with no end in sight and we look absolutely dreadful without him

Silver lining. We beat GT 52-49 WITH Robinson. We just put up 49 in the 2nd half without him last night. The team finally started making extra passes instead of taking rushed shots and half-assed drives to the basket. I hope we can carry that momentum into Pitt Saturday. Need a couple more wins to 'lock' a bid, and would LOVE to steal a game against Duke/UVA/FSU on an off night so we can stay off the 8/9 line.

Thanks man! I think that win got us off the bubble for now. After we will probably get killed at Duke Saturday we will have the easiest part of our ACC schedule coming up for the rest of the regular season, that is if there is an easy part of an ACC schedule.

At least they didn't yell " mass r*pe". So that's thoughtful lol
