Damn phone
Flacco’s numbers are terribleI think Denver is gonna be better with Flacco... Not sure they're gonna be Super Bowl bound, but with some of the QB play they've had Flacco is a step up and can do some good things for them...
That’s really the problem here. They went from 3rd in the AFCW, to still clearly the 3rd best TTL team in the AFCW. They need a Flacco that hasn’t shown up in years to make this work, and worse yet, they will have still be blowing some amount of dead money to make this happen with Keenum. Have to think there’s some stock being put into a scheme fit; wasn’t that the same brand of rhetoric with Keenum, however?I think Denver is gonna be better with Flacco... Even if it’s like 3M in net, it’s still 3M down the tubes plus a 4th round pick for a player who isn’t likely to be the difference between making and not making the playoffs; let alone SB contention.Read @cdumler7 post on how this isn’t the huge money waste certain people think it will be. Especially if Flacco restructures which is highly likely.
Also Keenum fit the scheme last year but doesn’t fit this one, Flacco does.

The main QB issue is spending the money they did on sub-mediocre QB play to begin with. It is compounding last offseason’s mistake- and that definitely is not 3M.
Well yes u lost a 4th that u had. And do u reallybtrust lock to be good? For one Elway likes him, second he compares to flacco, third he stunk every time he played decent defensesWell they got a 4th for DT so if Denver gives up a 4th they don’t really lose anything. Plus if Denver picks Lock in the draft which they’re strongly tied too he is pretty similar to Flacco so if Flacco spends the year as the starter while also teaching Lock to take over the following year or the year after it’s not the worst deal.

Bad since the Super Bowl, stats back it upHe's been bad lately sure, but he's also been good in the past, so maybe the new scenery, new start is what he needs...
Yeah

Yes but darnold wentz and Goff and even Rosen had more of a pedigree not so much Allen, well definitely not Allen, and look Allen can’t pass, can scramble, but can’t passThey lost a 4th they got for a guy they were going to cut at the end of the year anyway. So lose DT and get nothing or trade DT for a pick that they’ve now traded. Wouldn’t really call that a loss.
Also Lock is a gamble but so is Darnold, Allen, Rosen, Wentz, Goff, etc you get my point. All of those guys have looked great at times and yet all have their bad moments bust talk.
