Mike Scott is a better scorer. We already have enough guards who cant shoot.
.377 career from behind the arc (387 this year) and can play defense

How about those Sixers, slaughtering LaBron and Lakers, today!
Appears we finally have an NBA team of great depth and experience. 7-footers Embiid and Marjanovic, Reddick, Simmons, Harris, Butler, and McConnel played a fluid game this afternoon, and you know they will only get better in time the more they play together. :suds:

Harris fits this Offense like a glove ... great 3 point shooter, but he's a complete player ... can drive, rebound, pass and also handle the ball down the court. His presence helps so much with spacing as defenders can't collapse on Embiid or pay too much attention to JJ with his 3 game. Boban was also a sneaky good get ... he will be very valuable come playoff time clogging the lane on D and getting easy baskets on the Offensive end (smart player). I thought it would take more time for both guys to fit in with this team, but it looks like it will be a smooth transition ....

same ole same ole

it doesn't matter who the trade for, who they sign, who they draft........as long as Brett Brown is the coach of this team, they will NEVER make it to the ECF much less win a title

it's their third game together, the fact they made it through the first two so well was a bonus, all star break is coming up, that said, yeah, pretty shitty that it was against the celtics, which is the team they have come up short against time and time again in this exercise. this performance is not acceptable if it were the playoffs, we're still a few months from the playoffs, breathe in breathe out.

Celtics have a good team. Sixers looked disorganized but tried to play them close. They need to work on defense and develop a better plan of attack. Embiid should stay closer to the basket. I wonder if we need a better coach. Tough loss 112-108.

you're right, was their 3rd game together, so if anything they should have been even more comfortable and ready to go tonight AT HOME vs a top east team missing their best player

and instead as always, they come up short. Once the physical play ramps up, just like last year, this team shrivels up into a ball and can't get it done. Its not going to be any different in playoffs. If they face this team in 1st round its over, and Brown better fucking be fired

Wayyyyyyyyyyyyy too much talent on this team to continue to shit the bed EVERY FUCKING TIME vs a top Eastern Conference Team. Who the fuck cares if they match up well and beat a Warriors team if they can't even get to the Finals

You cannot play TJ and JJ at the same time. You cannot play Boban every game. Good teams will exploit that mismatch. You have to adjust your substitutions if need be during the game. FUCK Brett!!!!!!!!

No Irving on Boston
New high powered line up
Playing at home

quite frankly there is no way Sixers should have lost that game

but it was Boston - Sixers need to get over the hump with Boston
The talent is there on the Sixers to beat Boston even with Kyrie Irving (and that's not meant to be a slight against Boston - that's a very good team)
Still on this Wednesday morning though the stink of not being able to beat Boston still hangs in the air

It was a disappointing loss

I'm still shaking my head over that lost. How can u lose the same way all the time against one team? 3-8 now against the top teams in the east.

How can a team that made so many moves in a season, still needs help? Bolden needs to start and Redick needs to come off the bench and not play crunch time mins unless he's useful.

i'll give this a shot here

so, with Boban looking like he's out for a while (at best) and Embiid still not coming back, Amir is garbage... Patton has been putting up some numbers in the G-league. I know it's the G-league, but could the throwaway in a deal turn out to put in some useful minutes?
