Mike Scott - forward

Harris is great but that seems like too much to give up on the Sixers' part

I am fine with the players given up (I do like Shamet though) but all of those picks???

I was actually talking with someone about Scott the other day, had some good run in ATL when Bud was there then basically disappeared.

They have plenty of second rounders, so that's nothing. People bitched when they moved back a few slots to pick up one of those first rounders...

still need a guard that can defend. Harris was already hitting over 40% on 3's this year on a team where he was a man, think of all of the wide open looks Chandler and Muscala where getting here and doing nothing with.

Chemistry and egos are my only concerns. They all have to know the ball goes through Embiid 1st. Unselfish team ball and happiness of others performing well is the key.

I can't imagine Harris doing nothing but improving it, I feel like everytime he's gotten traded, the team he left got worse and the team he joined got better from Orlando to Detroit to LA.

It might take some time for Brett to figure out how to best stagger the lineups, but after Ben, primary/secondary ball handlers are TJ, Butler, Harris? Really hope to see what they might be able to land in the buyout market.

I figure Mike Scott previously played in Budz system in ATL, I imagine coming from under Pop concepts might be similar. End of the day, I think Butler or someone said it best about fitting in, it's basketball. The defensive end will be one thing, but on offense? I mean they're already plenty ugly a lot of the time with the turnovers, no where to go but up. I just picture Harris hitting all of those wide open threes at a much better clip than Muscala and Chandler did. Still laughing at the fact Muscala got flipped for a cat the Lakers fans were building up as a legit piece to an AD trade.

meh, think butler talk is over hyped. if everyone's playing hard and they're winning, no one cares. Embiid is the main guy, don't think anyone on the team feels otherwise. that said, Butler has been in the shadows for 3 quarters offensively and comes on in the 4th. I think they'll be fine. still hope/need to see them come up with another guard that can guard. props to the pacers sticking with their solid cats on expiring contracts sticking with it and still playing great sans oladipo (bit of a skid after he first went down, but they've adjusted).

saw a good question posed earlier today, why did the sixers go Mike Scott when Patrick Beverly would have also worked cap wise at more of a position of need.

Mike Scott is a better scorer. We already have enough guards who cant shoot.
