Shit really flew off for the Sabres post-game - Housley basically told his GM publicly to get him better d-men and Reinhart shamed his goalie about not making enough saves.

This team was in the top 3 in the league not even two months ago lol

As well it should. They haven't won consecutive games since the end of the win streak. At that time they were playing TB for #1 overall. They now trail TB by 23 points.

The D is bad. Housley's decisions have been bad. There's been virtually no scoring from anyone not named Eichel, Skinner, or Reinhart.

In other words, it's a typical day in Buffalo.

I said the other day Buffalo is maybe the only team for which an offer sheet makes sense but if the dressing room is falling apart again and giving up on this season makes that worse I'm not sure they're going to be able to keep some of the more important pieces here, either by choice (Skinner) or because they've become toxic in the room (Reinhart).

Botterill is in a really tough spot. Don't envy him right now.

After the game does Kuzy admit to Wilson that he dove and that he just pummeled a player for no good reason? I'm sure that fuckwit Wilson doesn't care but it is exhibit #27639 in the case of common sense v. the hockey "code'.
