Ummmmm what?

Gotta be the first of other trades, right?

Reggie has been playing well this year.

But, who's minutes is he taking?

Kuz or Ingram?

He's a free agent so I'm guessing just a depth addition. Guess the Pistons knew they can't afford to re-sign him.

I have no idea how LBJ fans on the East Coast do this staying up late shit so frequently now that he's with the Lakers.

Heat game is at halftime and I'm fighting sleep so bad right now

Westbrook with 16, 16 and 15. For those who didn’t think he was capable of making this transformation you are missing out. This is a beautiful thing to watch.

Stephenson or Hart, who has been trash for about 2 months now.

I honestly hope that he has.

To be clear, this post seems to imply that you agree with me that Westbrook shouldn't be taking 20 some shots a game, right? Because while he is still averaging 19.6 attempts per game this year (4.5 3s) he is down to 15.75 attempts over his past 8 games with 2.75 3 point attempts. The Thunder are 7-1 during that stretch.

Russ was taking way too many jump shots before. I have always thought Russ shoots way too much. Not because he is a point guard, but because he can't shoot. The numbers don't lie.

Feels like this is the best Thunder team ever, perhaps better than the Durant years...

I feel like they could use a guy like Wesley Matthews to round them out at the 2 and that's a viable challenge in the West. Tall order to beat the W's but if Houston could throw the ball in the ocean in game 7 last year......

...And my excitement from earlier in the night (our complete domination and humiliation of the Lakers) is now dimmed by the fact that my favorite Pacers target Tobias Harris is now headed to Fagadelphia.

It's alright, though. The overinflated egos of Butler and Embiid still have a solid chance to fuck up this potential "big four".

Wow.

@Mecca surprised the Clips did this, but great long term trade for them.

Also, LOL @WiggyRuss. When you are wrong, you are spectacularly wrong.

Don't have time to look at contract details as I am getting ready for work, but this deal looks a lot like rental Tobias Harris for Landret Shamet, 2 1sts, 2 2nds and some salary filler on either side.

Absolutely hilarious.

So which is it? Is Harris THAT much better than Love, or are you just totally wrong about picks for rentals? Because if Harris returns that much, Love gets 2 firsts.

#livinginthepast

Eventually you will realize your win percentage in these debates against me is shockingly low.

They were saying the Sixers were wanting to take advantage of Simmons being on the rookie deal and re-sign both Harris and Butler. Which makes for a pricey roster of course.

I can't wait until Love is actually traded so that we can all see who was right on the impact of his extension to his trade value.

The Tobias Harris deal is a pretty good barometer for what the Cavs would have gotten for Love on an expiring deal.

It's an interesting move for Philly... Harris is a player...

Last season, Boston took advantage of the '6ers weakness at the wing position in the playoffs. Now, of course, the '6ers have Butler and Harris.

They got a good club, for sure. We'll see how the blend works... but looks strong on paper.

holy shit did you just see that Wall news?

John Wall Slipped On His Infected Heel That Had Bone Spurs And His Achilles Tendon Exploded And His Supermax Begins Next Year

Here is perhaps the grimmest news item of the NBA season, relayed by the Washington Wizards under the devastatingly deadpan headline, “John Wall Injury Update.”

Wizards guard John Wall will undergo surgery to repair a ruptured left Achilles tendon. The procedure, which has yet to be scheduled, will be performed by Dr. Robert Anderson in Green Bay, WI. Wall is expected to return to full basketball activity in approximately 12 months from the time of the surgery.

Wall had developed an infection in the incision from initial surgery on Jan. 8 (a debridement and repair of a Haglund’s deformity and a chronic Achilles tendon injury in his left heel that was also performed by Dr. Anderson) and he suffered the rupture after slipping and falling in his home. The rupture was diagnosed by Wizards Director of Medical Services and Orthopedist Dr. Wiemi Douoguih during a procedure to clean out the infection.

So, John Wall’s season ended on Jan. 8 when he had surgery to clean up some bone spurs and a chronic Achilles injury in his left heel. He then developed an infection in the incision from that surgery. He later slipped and fell in his house and ruptured the Achilles tendon in the same heel that had previously been operated on and infected. His left heel may just be a lump of infected scar tissue at this point.

Wall’s four-year contract extension, which will pay him an average of $42 million a season, kicks in next season

I think it's safe to say that we're likely not going to see Wall at the same level he used to be. Achilles injuries are usually a death blow to a player. Wall's seems to go further than that. At least he's goign to get paid.
