Yeah, and both were balling.

If it were just about any other player, sans LeBron, my answer might be different.

But, he's the best player in the NBA.

So, it kinda skews things in his favor.
It's hard to disagree seeing the teams he dragged to the Finals last year and even worse in 2007.

Is anyone denying he would know about a near finalized deal that was agreed upon by the teams? when a deal is done, teams will share the info.

Are you this slow in real life?
You : Did he know about the deal before it happened?

Me: Provides proof that he knew before anyone else.

You: Well, did he know 6 days, 22 hours, 14 minutes and 42 seconds before?

Because if not, it doesn't count!!!

Me : :L

Oh, I agree. That's why the list is out there. The only one of those teams that can come close to beating the Lakers offer is the Knicks and that's only in the off-season if they get the #1 seed.
I think even 2 or 3 could be coveted.

Agreed...though not like KD is a slouch on D. Curry another story.

True. But AD is a better defender than KD. Steph is solid defensively, dude's just small, which limits him.

A really interesting matchup would be Lebron and AD with a sniper like Redick vs. KD and Steph with a defender/rebounder like DeAndre.

BOOM.

you also think tweeting out a pick that is about to be made is the same as a trade rumor that probably wont be made? Not sure if that's funny or sad.

I go with funny.

So, do you think Woj and Shams have insider info or are they just guessing?
i think they have insider info- but i think most of the info they obtain is leaked to them for a reason.

As far as the big picture NBA goes, they are probably privy to only a small percentage of the actual conversations that go on, but they are without a doubt privy to more conversations than anyone else.

Yep.

For me, even more so than his championships, his most impressive accomplishment was winning those 2 games in the Finals with no Love or Kyrie.

I actually liked that pick by the Kings, some didn't like it as much. I knew what he could become bc he was always a beast in 2K. He would get MVP like every year LOL

13 and 7 in 24 minutes. His per 36 numbers are 20 and 10. STUD

After watching Bagley in college I had no question he'd be a stud offensively I was worried on his D like another former Duke big recently

Now you don't get the difference between a guy reporting a rumor of a deal and a deal that has already been agreed to by the teams involved?

I am not saying when deals are made by teams they wont tell woj or someone like him. I'm saying they wont tell them about rumors of guys they may or may not trade. And when those rumors come out guess what happens........the GM will tell the players what I'm telling you. Just rumors. They are baseless.

Just when I think you cannot top yourself.

Agree.

You don't take anyone's word as gospel.

But, you don't disregard their reporting of RUMORS simply because they won't reveal their source.

Any reporter who did that would be out of a job.

I'll take the former but would be fun to see.

I agree....Delly as his #2? Not very efficient that series but somehow stole 2 games. 2007 was close, as I'd say Z was his #2. Difference is GS was better than the Pistons.

He just guessed all 60 of those picks, 5 years straight.

Anyone could do his job....lol

Come on dt everyone knows most rumors don't come true but they're fun to discuss and generally come from some realm of truth.

Much of the fun discussing the NBA is player moves

don't disagree with that one bit, but you are ignoring the fact that the recent big deals that have gone down, no one knew until the teams agreed to the deal. Teams let reporters know what they want, and on what planet would they want a reporter to know about a player who MIGHT be dealt?

the vast majority of their sources are, without a doubt, agents. And agents are only leaking that info to help their own purposes so you have to take it with a grain of salt.

When you think of the big NBA picture and all the discussions that happen, and all the trades that are made out of nowhere- like the Knicks one that was not reported until it was on the 99th yard line, or like the Cavs turnover of their whole roster last winter, it shows that, in the grand scheme of things, even the best NBA reporters only get a very small glimpse of the big picture.

I also think that a guy like Woj has journalistic standards, and could probably report on more than he does but only reports on what he does because he has his 2 sources.

When you are at his profile, even if he is being lied to by someone, you have to have your 2 sources or you can open yourself up to being discredited and losing your rep which is all he has.

Deflection Girl, I said just ask if you want help with your comprehension. And, yes, anyone can guess as has been proven by posters here.

its amazing that series was pushed to 6 with Love and Kyrie playing a combined 1 game.

Delly's greatest skill is being a tenacious goon....lol

Yeah, 2007 was close.

Z had so many injuries and Boobie Gipson wasn't going to cut it against Parker.

Did that team have Mo Williams or Damon Jones?
