IMO. Yes there was some brutal officiating but let's take a realistic look at this.

Saints were up by 13 and they blew it

They had the first OT possession but you blew it.

Saints can blame the refs but they also need to look in the mirror.

Point 2 is voided by a (correct call) from that helmet to helmet hit

You are correct about point 1. They also should have better defended that fake punt from the Rams

True but the point I'm trying to hammer across is it's as much the Saints as the Refs

I don't care about the blown calls. And I originally didn't care who won this game. But as it went on I kept getting more and more irritated by that fucker with the whistle. So in the end the football Gods prevailed and clearly fucked the Saints just so that guy would go home and hang himself by whistle chain. Justice.

Would somebody please explain the pass interference rule to me. While Breese threw a lame duck, it did not appear to be a tipped pass on the interception.

The fox rules guy basically said it was not called because Michael Thomas ran into the defender which I understand

Gotta love the league office. Tells Sean that hey we not only missed the obvious DPI but there was also helmet to helmet contact on that play as well which we also missed.

Along with the missed face mask on Goff which would have given them a first down at the 1 and they wouldn't have had to settle for FG, also face mask non call on Cooks long catch inside the 10, along with many noncalls, blah blah blah

Same thing they said about the missed DPI on Ginn on 3rd and 9 early in the 4th

What did they say about the Rams having over twice as many penalties called against them and over 3 times as many penalty yards against them?

Miss calls go both ways. Yall got away with a blatant facemask and countless holds.

The fact that a missed DPI call made a difference means the Saints have nobody to blame but themselves for allowing it to come down to that.

Rams are a really good team. You don't know much about football if you were expecting a 13-0 1st quarter lead to be the end of game.

Yeah I wouldn't want to be on Bourbon street tonight in a Rams jersey, but worse would be wearing a black and white striped shirt.:heh:

Exactly there were missed called on both teams. There were missed called on the face mask on Goff in the red zone and the horse collar on Goff while being sacked in the red zone.

You're allowed to horse collar when the QB is in the pocket. That was a correct no call

Let's not have anyone say 1 play or refs call doesn't decide a game. The Saints would have been kicking a 25 yard field goal with 3 or 4 second left.

You are right, if refs call the face mask on Goff Rams score TD instead of FG, Saints would of had to go for TD

All the talk is about the pass interference no call. But, saints stopped the clock on first down on an incomplete pass. Ran the ball on second down and then stopped the clock on third down with an incomplete pass. Yes, pass interference could/should have been called. But, the defender could’ve easily picked it off or at least knocked it down had he played the ball instead of targeted the receiver. The saints left the rams a timeout, 100+ seconds and the ball only down three when they could’ve run the ball three times and likely won the game. Sean Payton should be very thankful Robey-Coleman went full on idiot. The rams should be thankful robey-Coleman going full on idiot didn’t cost them the game.

Really I didn't know that? Why would a ref called a DB for horse calling on a WR, but not call a horse collar on a QB being sacked?

Saints fans were cheating too with a fake Payton blowing that whistle all game, which isn't allowed.

Good point, but some fans don't realize that. There were some bad calls on both teams.

I don't know but those are the rules. They said it during the game and it is in the NFL rule book

How is this cheating? They showed the guy on the TV broadcast. NFL had a great look at his face. Could have easily had him removed from the game if they wanted to
