FS...…… Glover Quin...…………………………. DM-1.67M...…………...CS-6.25M.. lost a step and contemplated retiring last 2 yrs.

I agree with most of your guys on the list but not so sure about losing Quin. Even if he lost a step, he is still by far and away our best safety and it isn't even close. I don't even know if I can name any other ones off the top of my head.

Didn't really want to break the bank at FA this year but it would be sweet as hell to get Clowney to replace Ansah. He's only 26 and already one of the best run defenders in all of football.

Kareem Jackson would also be a great addition to the squad.

He is one FA signing I could get on board with. Does he break the bank though and beats out Mack's deal. He has to stay healthy and that was a huge issue 1st 2 years. He did play 50% of snaps in 2nd year and 13 games

I have great respect for Quin's play but in an article I read early fall, either late September or early October, Quin had contemplated retiring. He received permission from BQ to miss workouts and I believe some or all of Mini-Camp each of last 2 years. If a player is contemplating retiring, he's already checked out.

I'll see if I can find the article again.

he's probably more in line as a nickel cb at this stage but I'd hate to see him up against quick-twitch, explosive off the line WR's. Hell he's gotta be early 30's by now. He shouldn't get much more than what Lawson is currently receiving but I'm horrible at predicting FA $$ contracts to players.

It's crazy he hasn't topped 9 sacks in a season with his talent. He does have #1 overall pick pedigree and we don't have any franchise type players on the defensive side of the ball. Bears got Mack. We should get Clowney to level the playing field.

Yeah, I saw that. Looks like he is in his pure prime right now and top of his game. Might not be as fast or explosive but DB's tend to get more saavy as time goes on and we could use him opposite Slay for a couple years. Or maybe move him to Safety to replace Quin?

Trading for Brate just gives away another draft slot and costs more than a draftable rookie but at least Brate has proven himself in the NFL.

I am not really for wasting draft stock on a TE. Also, Quinn letting Ebron walk for free showed his hand on what he thinks about the importance of TE's. I remember reading something a long time ago when they drafted Ebron about how even at Georgia, Stafford doesn't like throwing to TE's often.

Trading Marvin would be absolutely dumb. That's pretty much 5.4M in dead Money from bonuses. There isn't any guaranteed money in base salary though.

Marvin Jones is almost guaranteed to be lining up across Golladay next year. Would be nice if Quinn could hit on another Golladay in the middle rounds this draft. Our depth at WR is almost frightening.

I think Trey Flowers is more likely and then draft a 3-4 edge guy in Allen. Although I am liking White more and more now. I think he is my pick if I had to make it.

I am on it. I was all over Golliday 2 years ago. I am not sure where their heads are on guys like the Joneses or Powel. We may need more than 1 WR. It may need to be slot guy.

1. They just need to cut injured Lang.

2. Move Ragnow over to C where he should be

3. Move Glasgow over to RG where he should've been all along from the get go.

4. Sign Pitt Steeler's Ramon Foster to a 2 year easy out contract (cost about 3.5M per)

5. Draft a true LG (I really like NC State LG-Prescodd but not in the 1st round. He'd probably go somewhere 2nd round and I wouldn't be happy with that early of a selection on another O-Lineman).

There's other LG or convert CFB LT that should slide inside to LG later on in the draft.

FA for OG in general is a horrific list even just to glance over.

Dahl is nothing more than an emergency almost serviceable Lineman and not even that. He did well as a Tackle eligible TE or H-back but that's about it after 3 years later of drafting him.

The only possibility of keeping Lang and HOPING he can stay healthy would be to cut his damn base salary from 8.844M down to 3.25M with incentives to earn games started bonuses based on a minimum of playing 70% of offensive snaps for each individual game.
