Cousins isnt the sole reason the Vikings crapped the bed. But he is (at least this season), what some thought he was, a good QB who can’t put the team on his back when they need him to. He did not earn his big paycheck this year. The jury is still out on him, but rest assured, another ho him season like this and they will be Singing the same song many of us were. FWIW, I hope he has success.

But back to the ? At hand. This really isn’t even an argument. The Skins (mathematically) we’re still alive in Week 16 with a 4th string QB and a roster decimated by injuries. The Vikings missed out with largely the same roster that got them to the NFCCG.

Would have to the Vikes. The tie with Green Bay because the kicker missed three FGs and not being competitive against Chicago was very disappointing. Minnesota could not handle the Bears pass rush in either game.

I can’t disagree with the bigger disappointment. But I’ll take the argument the skins were bad. But he had world class talent this year and did the same thing. Again this is just my opinion. Dudes a stat compiler against junk, and folds against legit competition

The Vikings were more disappointing.

Having said that, the Vikings have a SHOT at improving and wont be looking for a QB in the next few months..

Redskins... not so much.

Everyone answer honestly. You all know where I stand.

Jesus Christ - who cares. Do you feel good because the Vikings underperformed while the Redskins were an embarrassment? Bruce Allen loves gullible fans like you.

On one hand, since I don't give a shit about Minn., I'd have to say I am more disappointed in us. But, on the other hand, when we signed AS, I predicted 5 wins for this team. They thus exceeded my expectations so how can I be disappointed? I almost don't give a shit about this team anymore, either.

Well - they had 6 wins because they were fortunate to play 5 of the worst teams in the NFL due to numerous reasons (injuries, bad coaching, young teams, etc). Only one of those 6 wins was impressive.

So am I out of line if I say that if Alex doesn't go down, we are playing the Seahawks Saturday night? At the minimum, a road game in Chicago on Sunday?

I think we end up at 7-9 . He wasn’t playing well at all before the injury

With the way our defense folded the last half of the season? No way. They, and AP, are the only reason we had 6 wins early. Alex had nothing to do with it. His play was a hinderance when he was in there.

The obvious answer is correct. The Vikes were more disappointing. That doesn’t make KC a bust in Minnesota...it makes him year one.

This also wasn’t the same Vikings team of the previous year. They had a new OC, make that two of them.

I even said there may be growing pains in Minnesota year one. I even said Keenum May have been a better fit because he had already proven it there. Just like I said KC is a better fit here than AS.

You see...that is unbiased. That is getting beyond the shit we want to see and seeing things objectively.

I saw in a previous post that you said the injuries that we had didn't matter on our yearly performance. That is just behind awful.

The Redskins are facing a 3-13 season in 2019 with or without Alex Smith

Its a loaded question.

Kirk Cousins >>>> Alex Smith
Vikings have stability at QB for at least the next 3 years. Skins are fucked unless they go 3-13 and can land a top signal caller in the 2020 draft

Alex Smith is an absolutely dreadful qb who drove fans out of their seats and away from their television screens long before the losses started to pile up

In the Chiefs' four losses this season, Patrick Mahomes threw for an average of 336.5 yards, 3.75 TD and KC averaged 37.5 points per game.

He is 2-4 vs playoff teams . So is he a “ stats guy” ? Or could it be the team is 2-4 ?

His brilliance kept them in those games, didn't cost them those games.

Really? So please tell me without many of those injuries how many more games would the Skins win? Many of those losses were due to awful defense & the defense had very few injuries. For starters even without injuries they don't beat the Saints, Falcons, Eagles (both games) & the 2nd games vs. Giants & Boys. They also likely don't beat the Colts (a loss that occurred while they were relatively healthy).

The only potential losses that could have been wins were vs. Titans (very possible) & possibly Texans but that is debatable. I didn't say that the team would not have performed better - certainly on offense - just that they would not have won a lot more games.

By all means keep buying into the crap that Snyder & Allen sell the fans.

Yep - you know everything. See my reply above. I guess that prior to those injuries the Skins were on a SB run when they beat the powerhouse teams of ARI, CAR, GB, TB & NYG. Combined record of those teams for 2018 was 26-53-1. Impressive.

In Minnesota, I'm pretty damned sure it was the Vikings
In D.C. it was us.
Personally, the entire NFL and their sorry assed "safe, offense only" product.
