Pretty damn good showing by the Dawgs tonight. Obviously don't have the offensive firepower the top teams do right now but the defense held Gonzaga down to make it a fight. Some bad shots taken throughout the game that may have turned the table had they been better possessions, and the bigs have to find away to stay out of foul trouble. Some of the calls tonight certainly didn't help.

On the other side, you can't deny Hachimura is a star. That kid is really good.

Overall the Huskies could do worse than losing by 2 on a last second shot to the #1 team in the country on the road.

Agreed. We won’t know much about the PAC until conference play starts...see ASU last year.

The game was lost in the first half when we turned the ball over 8 times in the first 10 minutes and the Gonzaga was in the double bonus with 7:30 to play in the first half.

They fought hard to come back but dug too deep of hole.

Well the game was tied with 2 seconds left, so not really. One of the best players in the country hit a clutch shot to win. It happens.

They couldn't play interior defense without fouling. They had 3 bigs with 4 fouls with 15 minutes to play, they were forced to give up layups. The game was over.

Ok, but a game that's tied with seconds left can go either way. That is in no way a game that was out of reach because of the first 10 minutes.

I’ll tune into the Nevada-ASU game tonight. 10:00 start time is kind of shitty though.

We died the second half. The Martins from Nevada owned us! Damn. 5 senior starters are so synchronized.

Yeah Nevada fans better enjoy this season. Five 5th year seniors in the starting lineup is crazy. They have a combined 25 years of college experience. Wow.

Why are my Sun Devils the only ranked team in the PAC? I wish we could go way back in the summer and read some of the posts....

ASU rises to number 18 and running solo in the PAC12. It is like crickets in here. Next up Vandy and #1KU.

With non-conference almost done, the PAC-12 is 1-26 versus the current RPI Top 50, with the only win coming from ASU beating Mississippi State.

Wow, it almost takes a tremendous amount of luck to be that bad. I had no idea they were doing that badly.

Man....I came on here to say I just heard the PAC has lost 11 straight to the BIG

(Of course I've now just jinxed it)
