How so? What state in the West division offers anything recruiting wise? There is a reason that division is crap, they have no recruiting base. The east has ohio and Pennsylvania at least. Lets say Texas went to the B1G, and the SEC grabs Texas tech. The longhorns would have to convince recruits to play games in Iowa, Minnesota, and Nebraska as opposed to playing vs LSU, Arkansas, Bama and Auburn. It would be recruiting suicide to join the B1G.
Don't they have to do that now but instead of Iowa, Minnesota and Nebraska substitute Kansas, Oklahoma and West Virginia. And they already have to convince recruits to play games in Iowa.

If your coach can't out-recruit Texas Tech, you have significantly bigger issues than the conference that you play in.

LOL at pumping up playing at Arkansas as if that's relevant

The Big ten hasn't had a team in the playoffs in the last two seasons. Lets not act like the Big ten is some step up from the big 12, its just a conference that has 1 team that plays modern offense and they own that conference. I've stated facts, everybody else just comes back with "you're scared".

The B1G’s doormat takes your shit program to the woodshed on the reg.

sigh, you missed the point but ok.
Yeah, you have no recruiting incentives in the Midwest. I get that. you’re also being quite the condescending dickwad for a team thats been mostly irrelevant for the past decade.

You actually JUST said: "Texas does not gain anything from this, so we won't do it."

You also may be able to recruit players that can actually form an offensive line if you started going after Midwest players as opposed to just sticking with Texas players who think blocking is optional.

Well you'd have to subtract the 15mil we get from LHN. But like I posted above, it would be recruiting suicide.
Right, and I think B10 schools are expected to get something like $50 million each in the next few years.

I'm not sure it would impact Texas recruiting in any way. I don't think recruits would have a problem with coming to texas, playing OU and Nebraska every year and playing Michigan, Ohio State and Penn State regularly.

well, it could definitely work out to create the four 16-team power conferences.

ACC, Big10, and SEC all have space for 2 more. Pac 12 has room for 4 more.

Only question is who draws the short straw and gets stuck with Kansas football. Obviously their basketball program would boost whichever conference took them, though.

Granted, it might be semantics, but is it really condescending when it’s retarded shit?

Don't think this will happen. But it would make the Big 10 West an awesome division. The sad thing is where would the other B12 schools go? There are only a few that would probably have guaranteed landing spots.

As does every other major conference. This decade, they're only over .500 against the Big 12 (just got back over .500 this year), CUSA, the MWC, and the Sunbelt.

0-2 vs. B1G
2-2 vs. SEC
3-6 vs. Pac 12

They would have to throw in a lot of research money. OU is one of three Universities valued over a Billion dollars, we have a good thing going in the BigXII. Then add FoxSW/pay per view money and OU receives, close to what LHN gives texASS.

We make the playoffs, consistently, we win the BigXII almost every year. We dominate, news outlets, year round. Just last year, it was Baker Mayfield, then Trey Young, then Kyler Murray. Everyone talks about texASS, but come on, OU is the Big Dog of the conference.

Few people would cry about Baylor and TCU being left out, which is all but guaranteed.

Tech and Boone State might fare little better, but I don't see a league like the PAC or the SEC going, "Ohh, we want the Cowboys and Red Raiders!"
