Kings might have the 12th best chance in the West to make the playoffs, that's the best I can do.
Well, I actually hope you do make it, no matter how farfetched that may be.

Does Boston or Philly really need another top 10 pick?

I would love to finish around .500 again.

But, I want to keep our pick more.

So, Go Grizzly, Go Kangz!!!!!

Lebron was supposidly over the hill when the cavs signed him back from Miami. Now 5 years later and discounting this year so 6 years later he will lead the lakers to a championship lol
The Cavs still winning more games than the Lakers?

LMAO

Ya know he wasn't the only one who thought Mcgee would Shit the bed, right?

I guess I get a pass because I fell on my sword early?

Yes.

You are willing to admit it when you are wrong, and also you are able to express your opinion without being a total duechebag.

Typical Mecca quote would look like this:

"I don't think McGee will do much for the Lakers this year. He is too unreliable".

Typical Wiggy quote is something like this:

"You are delusional if you think McGee can average anywhere near double figures. You are a damn fool to think that is possible. No chance".

In other words, Wiggy deserves every single word of criticism he gets.

Agree with pretty much all of this. I can't think of a player who was the best in the league at age 35 either...but, as you say, we're in uncharted territory with Lebron.

We also haven't seen a player who goes to the extent Lebron does as far as keeping himself in top shape.

I mean, I thought Kobe was fanatical about staying in top shape and taking care of his body.

Lebron makes Kobe look fat and lazy by comparison. lol

On his minutes, he's leading the Lakers minutes, but so far, he's playing the fewest minutes per game of his career. He's currently playing 35.4 minutes per game. He played 36.9 for the Cavs last year. His next fewest was 35.6 in 2015-16.

Theoretically, as the season goes on and everyone gets on the same page, his minutes will go down and he'll be able to sit out a game here and there.

Always great to see you and Wiggy on the same page

Because in the east Lebron had a path to the finals, where anything can happen...Injuries, etc

In the west he has no shot...

He also contradicted himself by saying he has a better shot, and then a few sentences down says they both have no shot.

I agree they both basically have no shot, so the team that gets the #1 pick in the draft wins, and the other team that loses in the 1st round of the playoffs loses

I didn't contradict myself at all.

The Lakers have no shot this year. The Cavs would have had no shot this year with LeBron.

The Lakers have a pathway to contend starting next season if they make a couple decent roster moves. They have cap space, a ton of valuable assets, and a desireable market.

yah...the same people that said the Cavs were smart to trade Wiggins for Love because Wiggins prime did not line up with LeBron's prime are the ones saying the lakers were smart not to trade youngsters for proven talent....like you said- FOUR YEARS LATER!!! LOL.

the hypocrisy is astounding. At least we will get to enjoy the crash and burn that is coming.

And the REAL fun part will be when kawhi, butler, kd, kyrie, klay all choose to have nothing to do with the Lakers this upcoming summer, therefore cementing the fact that LeBron will not win a title in LA.

Thank GOD the Lakers did not draft a Tatum or Mitchell or trade for a PG when they could ahve- we might have somethign to worry about---- intstead they are reduced to getting excited about signing 36 year old Tyson Chandler off of waivers.

You are missing the point. It is a much different situation.

Because:

A) LeBron signed a 1 +1 deal in Cleveland vs a 3 + 1 in LA. Gilbert had to make win now moves or LeBron was out again.

B) no matter what moves the Lakers made this past summer, they were highly unlikely to beat GS.

When you put A and B together, it is easy to see why LeBron isn't pushing the Lakers to make win now moves. Expect Next season to be different. But the young kids will get the full 82 to their fit with LeBron (unless they get a great offer for Lonzo).

It would be a dream season for the young Kings to make the playoffs even if the Warriors blasted them in 4 games. But I don't see them ending up with a better record than the Warriors, Lakers, Rockets, Pelicans, Spurs, Nuggets, Thunder, Blazers, or Jazz. That's 9 teams so they'd have to be better than at least 2 of them plus teams like Memphis/LAC/Minnesota. Obviously this season is more about the core players improving and showing future FA's that this group can make the playoffs/contend in the upcoming years, making the playoffs this season would show that more than any stats could.

How did I miss this?

Lmfao!!!

If I were Jokic, I would blame it on ESL.

The NBA announced a $25,000 fine for Nuggets center Nikola Jokic for comments he made during a postgame interview on Oct. 31.

After the Nuggets defeated the Bulls, Jokic was asked about Wendell Carter Jr. and said, "No homo, but he's longer than you expect." The league determined Jokic used "derogatory and offensive language" in his response, leading to the hefty fine.

I hear you.

Even if you fall short, it's nice to finally see the positive trajectory.

I'm still high on Giles and Bagley and Fox looks like he will be a star.

Wow.

But, is he unable to run because he is too injured, or because the Knicks suck so badly?

My guess is too injured. Running seems like it should be at the beginning stages pf recovery

BOOM.

This is the main reason I have no guilt whatsoever in what might might look like me being a total douche-bag.
