Because in the east Lebron had a path to the finals, where anything can happen...Injuries, etc

In the west he has no shot...

He also contradicted himself by saying he has a better shot, and then a few sentences down says they both have no shot.

I agree they both basically have no shot, so the team that gets the #1 pick in the draft wins, and the other team that loses in the 1st round of the playoffs loses

You think this Lakers roster is demonstrably better than last year's Cavs roster? I don't.

There is certainly far more upside with this Lakers roster than the Cavs had. But for this year, I don't see this Lakers roster being all that much better than last year's Cavs roster.

They are much worse. No playoff experience, no shooter, no stars...Basically everything you need in the playoffs

Cavs had players that stepped up big and hit big shots in the playoffs...Good luck with rondo and ball hitting that key 3 pointer
