Probably should have one or two go to WRs with the money saved by not paying Cousin's.

Redskins need another ILB and a pass rusher OLB Preston Smith just doesn't cut it

This ^^^^^^^ dean said Alex played fine today and I agree, he did play fine. Could've arguably been his best game this year. 300 plus yards passing and led what was his best drive this season for a 2nd half TD. That was actually relevant at the time the Skins scored it.
Trouble is, we needed a baller today and all we got was fine. Alex wasn't the reason they lost, but he was the reason the Skins chances of coming back were null n void.
Heh. They were straight clownin Alex Smith on NFL GameDay Prime. It was very sad and funny at the same time.

Many people in DC are doubting and/or laughing at Smith's efforts. It is starting to go more nationwide.
Clearly the Redskins were stuck at about $21 million for a QB so they were not going to resign Cousin's. I don't think they had to spend that much but my guess is they figured Smith was worth it. I think dad said it, we could have had Fitzpatrick, hell if nothing else he would have been fun. Long story short the Redskin FO botched this entire thing from well really going back as far as Griffin.
We are stuck with Smith for at least two more years after this year. I would suggest they look for a young QB they can groom.
