I doubt this passing game woes will continue. Of course I agree with you that the passing game with Smith is not even close to being there. We are 5-2 with him being below avg so even Smith at avg makes us a 10 win team plus playoffs. That is all you can ask for right now.

Not really. I don't think wanting half-ass competent QBing should even be an ask. It should be expected. E-pecially from the likes of Smith. He's not some rookie or guy finally getting his shot.

Did KC have this type of defense ? Smith won’t sniff 4 000 yds or 25 tds , if we got that this team is 6-1, to 7/0!

Can I say Alex Smith has outright cost us a game? No.....not yet. So yes, we agree on that. A case could also be made that he's done very little to help us win a game with his 2nd half play......and not turning the ball over isn't a valid answer.

So Stroman and Norman getting burned for Td's didn't matter in the Saints game? Smith didn't play well but the defense couldn't stop them. You cant put that game on Smith. Colts game I say coin flip.

I'm not blaming Smith for either AP's fumble or DH's missed FG. Besides, I know players won't make every play, but both AP and DH are doing their jobs and doing them well, Alex not so much.
