The thing I see from Smith right now is that he wont make the game killing INT. You cant blame the AP fumble, the Davis drop late in the 4th, or the Hopkins miss FG on Smith. SO that would of been 26 points. The main reason why I wanted Smith is b/c he wont make that huge mistake and will be accurate. The accuracy hasn't come yet. The bottom line is we can win with this guy. He wont put the Brady or Rodgers numbers but we can win with him.

Thus far the only thing that's been proven in the last 7 games is that the Skins can win in spite of Smith. Eventually though his throwing for under 200 yards in a game. Or averaging 5.5 yards per pass, being too scared to throw deep, unable to engineer any type of 2nd half offense. Or playing like hot dog-shit after the Skins first 2 or 3 possessions is gonna bite us in the ass.

I doubt this passing game woes will continue. Of course I agree with you that the passing game with Smith is not even close to being there. We are 5-2 with him being below avg so even Smith at avg makes us a 10 win team plus playoffs. That is all you can ask right now.
