That part would be easy depending on price. First, don’t overpay. Second, get rid of Reed’s contract.

so you advocate signing cooper ad dumping davis and reed for sprinkle

Hell no.

How about a fifth?
As much as I like Doctson, he truly holds little to no value so he is a throw in. Cooper has shown flashes of greatness even with Carr albeit one season. He has value so I will meet you halfway, Doctson & a 4th for Cooper. Think they bite? I don't think so...who knows though, Gruden traded away the best defender in football and generational talent (I know you don't think so) player so maybe, just maybe he goes for it. :noidea:

I am not for pluses and minuses. I look at individual moves, not worried about ifs and thens.

I am for getting rid of Reed. He has clearly lost a step and isn’t worth close to his cap hit. We save 6 mil by getting rid of him.

Davis is still relatively cheap.

As for Cooper, he wouldn’t come here for what I would offer and I don’t want him without a new contract. He is also completely wasted with our current QB...so no, I do not really want him. Hell, I would pay him about the same as Richardson.

I think the right team could still go for Doctson, and I don’t think Cooper is really that big a commodity. Yes, I do believe Cooper is worth more than JD.

Nope, I doubt they bite.

I really don’t care for Cooper though...just like I didn’t when he came out of college.

In search of help at wide receiver, the Dallas Cowboys are collecting information about Amari Cooper prior to the Oct. 30 trade deadline.

Per ESPN.com's Adam Schefter, the Cowboys have been making phone calls to people who know Cooper as they debate whether to make a formal trade offer to the Oakland Raiders.

Those are mostly awful ideas imo.

If we want to make a move for a receiver id target amari cooper.

theScore - Report: Raiders seeking 1st-round pick for Cooper
Report: Raiders seeking 1st-round pick for Cooper
Report: Raiders seeking 1st-round pick for Cooper

Skins were really high on Cooper. A 1st is steep. Now the question is, what do you think the Skins will be looking for in the draft.

OLB, WR, G, QB?

Say the Skins pick between 15 and 20. Can you get an Amare Cooper in the teens next year?

Why has his production fallen off?

Would he be a waste with Smith at QB?

Do those long throws Smith made to Doctson who was blanketed turn into TDs with Cooper.

If Jay wants him all he has to do is pick up the phone and call his brother.

A 1st is steep but fair. Id try to call their bluff and shoot for a 2nd or something like that though. I think Gruden (jon) just wants to rebuild with his guys and is willing to sell low on good players (cough khalil mack cough).

Question also becomes, what are you going to pay Cooper? He won’t be worth what is paid, that is for sure.

I wouldn’t give up picks for him either. I would give up Jordan Reed, perhaps, because he has clearly lost a step or ten.

Why cant he be worth what is paid?

we can save money by letting Preston Smith go in free agency he is not worth the money and with that money you can sign Cooper long term
What is the money smith will get ? So far not much

Were set up to have 21 mil in cap space this offseason. We have plenty to sign cooper.
