He has a 5 year deal and they can franchise him. He’s averaging over 300 yards a game and 2 TDs at almost 70% completion rate. That would be a season of 5000 yards, 32 TDs and 4 INTs at a 70% completion rate which is very good.

It's a 5th year option. My point remains the same. Franchising him will only alienate him. So if you think he'll cost a lot this year go ahead and franchise him. The organization doesn't want to see him hit FA. They don't want to franchise him. The tag will likely be $25M by then if not more. Once again there goes ALL that savings by releasing guys that you'll have no $ to replace. That's $25M guaranteed. On a already injured QB. Yeah good luck with that. Now you're not only mortgaging the farm you gambling away the next few years.

Why can't you see there is no magic potion that will get Philly out of this mess. You can continue to thank Howie for the ONE championship he brought to Philly.

Where are you getting your numbers from? He's averaging 275 yds per game, he has 5 TDs in three games sorry but that's not two a game it's 1.67, 67.2% is not almost 70%. So no it's not going to be 5k, 32 and 4 at the current pace. But nice try.

He’s thrown for over 900 yards in 3 games. 275 would be 825. I thought he had 2 TDs every game but looking at his stats he had 1 his first week.

There is a magic potion... it’s called drafting well. What do you recommend? Cutting a star franchise young QB?

Why do you do this to yourself? Slow down and read. I think you may have read his last game (current) + the October roll up which is the same and Minny. He had 255 against Indy and 348 against Tenn those power house Ds. Then again I'm sure you're right and ESPN is wrong?

Yes because we all know drafting well is so easy:doh:

Even when you do well in a draft you're lucky to get one impact player the first year and a couple others that may mature in the future. Olinemen which includes centers take 2-3 years to gel just as an example.

So your strategy is continue to gamble with your franchise?

No what I expect is for my so called GM (Cap genius) to not put my franchise in cap hell.

Many of us told you to enjoy your SB. The end was closer then you could think. We're all watching what we predicted. The almost MVP is struggling trying to find wins. The team has attitude problems. Your coach is a bozo. And the mortgage for that SB is coming due next season.

Did I manage to quiet PE1 even if only for a few precious minutes?

Apparently he has no answer to the correct stats. Almost MVP played against the 8th, 22nd and 24th ranked Ds. How UN-MVP like.

Why didn't you bring up his fumbles? 3 already? That's a fumble a game. 14 by seasons end. That's Dave Krieg like. If Carson had played the entire season he'd be on path to eclipse Krieg's worst season of 18.

Got a made up excuse for everything.
1. Olineman take 3 years to gel?
2. We won’t be in cap hell and we’ve explained it to you 100 times
3. Every team who has to give a young star QB big money struggles. Should Seattle have cut Wilson. Should NE have dumped Brady a long time ago?
4. Teams who draft well are fine but you’re saying no matter what Philly does they are screwed. Come on man be for fucking real.
We aren’t in cap hell and you’ll see next year but you won’t admit it when it happens. What are we supposed to do in 2 years when Wentz is a FA? Let him walk?
We have attitude problems? That’s news to me. Our coach is a bozo? How is that? He just won the SB. I’ve never seen someone so butt hurt over a SB loss. The season isn’t over. Our QB just came back from major surgery and is throwing for 300 yards a game at a 70% completion rate and you’re ripping him. Amazing, ludicrous, trolling champion of the Hoop!

Makes no sense. Sorry we beat you... I know it hurts. But trolling on the Hoop will make all the pain from the loss evaporate.

First you still haven't answered my earlier questions. No big deal we're used to your goal post shuffle.

1. You may be the only person on the hoop that doesn't think it takes an Oline 2-3 years to gel. Note I said 2-3 not just 3. If you're going to quote me at least quote me correctly. Nothing like trying to fluff your argument.
2. You've explained NOTHING. You've thrown out a lot of wishes like a good draft will fix it...
3. Wrong not EVERY team does. Brady took less and BB is a mad genius that worked the cap properly never mortgaging the team for one season.
4. Your top pick that was a reach has 12 catches thru five games. Is that how you're going to replace your lost talent in a single season? Maddox has one INT and Sweat hasn't done anything. Your top three picks haven't amounted to anything more then rookies trying to get some playing time. Do you even want to bring up how many busts Philly has had over the past three seasons? But we're supposed to believe they have the magic potion that will propel them back to the SB? Come on man be for fucking real.

Nope I hope you sign Nick this year for $200M. Why do you think Philly who always negotiates their top players a year early are going to let Carson hit FA season? More magic potion you're snorting? If Carson hits free agency you won't get him for $200M unless you guarantee a majority of it. Just more cap hell and hope for no injury to the brittle one.

Yep. We should be good cap wise for a year or two but EVERY team with a young star QB faces this dilemma. I’d rather have cap issues and a young franchise QB then a ton of cap space and no QB. You have to reload via the draft and hit on some stars to keep it rolling. Just part of today’s game.
We were talking about next year in our cap issue argument. Not after signing Wentz in 2 years.

If wentz lights it up, as you think he will, is he gonna want something before his deal expires? Seems that studs want a deal way before training camp starts a year out of the end of current contract. Maybe wentz is different but he already has had one major injury and I am sure he knows what happened to earl in seattle.

I think we all know what will happen, you just refuse to acknowledge it. Cap hell. It will come and you will look stupid. No guru is going to get your team out of it.

Wentz is under contract through 2019, and the Eagles hold a fifth-year option that would pay him close to $30 million, which will be the average of the top 10 highest-paid QBs in the league.

With this, how many key players are cut. The Eagles are at the cap ceiling without THE BIG QB Contract. The Eagles aren't special in cap management, it's just that they aren't paying the highest paid position real money yet. That bill collector it walking up the steps now.

Nope, un uh, no way Philly all of a sudden knows what it takes to make a winner. Heck they had 50 years to get it right.

Maybe they are onto something? Not!
