I hope Michigan State plays Arizona State at 9am Eastern next year. They should change it 12:30 Eastern, then OD's head would explode.

I'm not sure what the problem is. That's equivalent to a 3:30pm game ET. Plenty of big games take place at this timeslot -- and better for the Pac12, people on the east coast can actually watch them take place. I watch almost no Pac12 games every year because they start at like 10:30PM our time. I might catch a quarter. So I would say this is great for the conference. I bet the ratings on those games go up significantly.Chris Petersen and the fuskies have put the PAC-12 in a bad spot. Due to Petersen's comment about ESPN coverage and this and that and the other, the media, especially ESPN, has put the fuskies in the dog house (pun intended). And it has hurt the rest of the conference.
Why? How? Well lets take a look at next Saturday. Saturday October 1E the #18 Oregon Ducks host a probably a ranked Washington team. It is a huge battle for the PAC-12 and for the Pac-12 North. Add in that the Ducks will likely climb in the polls given there will be teams ahead of them that lose and we are looking at a potential top 15 matchup for that game in Autzen. You'd think a game of that proportion would be around a 5PM Pacific Time kickoff on either primetime FOX or ESPN/ABC.
It is at 12:30 PM Pacific time...…………………………………………….Really?

It's almost like time and weather CAN impact the outcome of a game? Who knew?I hope Michigan State plays Arizona State at 9am Eastern next year.
Time is a little different. The weather is the same for everyone. When one team’s bodies think it’s 10pm and the other team think it’s 1am is completely different. It's almost like time and weather CAN impact the outcome of a game? Who knew?
I'd rather play at 1am than in a monsoon.Time is a little different. The weather is the same for everyone. When one team’s bodies think it’s 10pm and the other team think it’s 1am is completely different.
It’s not like you threw passes to your wide recievers anyway and your run game was atrocious.I'd rather play at 1am than in a monsoon.
I can’t remember the last time Arizona hosted a day game. I guess it’s because we’re that good and get that much respect.Chris Petersen and the fuskies have put the PAC-12 in a bad spot. OD: "We don't get respect because people in the east don't ever watch us because they're asleep! It's bullshit!"
OD when they're teams are scheduled to play at a normal hour on the East Coast: "That's bullshit! They still don't respect us!"
Classic OD

It does kind of suck for Pac football fans that all the games are over by 8pm. What in the hell do you do the rest of the night?
