Kyle Busch takes Richmond. What a surprise. Another semi-snoozer. Geez, isn't there some football on somewhere?

Several Youtube vids are now predicting the death of NASCAR by 2021. The author of the vids makes some really valid points and it looks like the sport will disappear about the same time according to his predictions. Should be interesting to see if he is right.

Dinger out of the #47 at year's end. Rumor is Ryan Preece is the replacement.

Other rumors:
Kurt to #1
Suarez to #41
Truex to #19

I don't think it's going to be that soon, but I think the sport needs to make some significant changes if it hopes to survive past 2030 or so. It may be too late, but I think a turn back towards the roots of the sport is what they'll need to do. If NASCAR goes the way of IROC however, auto racing in the U.S. will pretty much be dead other than for the Indy 500, as none of the other major racing series have enough appeal to the sporting public.

This Roval thing at Charlotte is laughable because these cars apparently do not have the down-force to stick to the course after attaining high speeds on the oval portion of the race. People wrecking in practice!! Another turd laid by NASCAR!!

This race is so ridiculously stupid, I'll use Earnhardt Sr.'s words to describe it: That is some of the sorriest racin' I have ever seen." This series and NASCAR is dying a quick death. I think I'll go take a nap and watch a movie than watch this crap.

Apparently many fans agree as there is practically noone at the track and the most excitement is coming from a screamin' track announcer. What a flippin' joke. Bye-bye!!

LOL. Jeemie got taken out on the last lap by getting together with Truex Jr and it looks like Rayn Blaney wins the race. What a flippin joke this race is.

More cars are crashed-up with sheet metal hanging off of them. This looks ridiculous. NASCAR: Oh let's have a race where we just go out and trash a bunch of race cars!

I had to laugh at Jimmie Johnson today.
Was pretty much guaranteed a spot in the next set of playoff races & took himself out of it at the very end. (literally)

Jimmie made more fans than haters yesterday. He could have taken the easy route to the next round of the playoffs and rode behind Truex to the line, but instead he took a chance at the win. If that was just about anyone but JJ, y'all would be praising them, but since it's 7-time, he gets flak for it.

While he chose to take a chance, which I applaud, look at what that chance did. Trying to get 1 win, he cost himself a chance at #8. Trying to win that one race was not worth it.

With that said, I love the Roval. I hope they keep it around.

That's called a NASCAR race. Look at any road course, short track or superspeedway race and you can say the same thing. At least they are trying something new to excite things and not letting things be stagnant for years. I think they are trying to change too much with the points stuff but, ya know, not everything is for everyone.
