Which team has the best chance to beat Alabama prior to the College Football Playoff?

Obvious choice is Alabama.

As good as LSU and Auburn are, this is a different level Alabama than what we are used to.

Texas A&M will be a massacre, LSU will be between 15-20 points, Miss St will be between 25-30 points, and Auburn will but between 14-10 point, ASSUMING Alabama doesn't beat themselves.

I'd be worried if we had the Patriots, Falcons, or Eagles next week, though.

I really think Georgia and Alabama is going to be an elite rivalry over the next few years. Smart is a great coach that learned from the best. Even in his second year he was almost able to defeat him. The way both of these teams are playing already and recruiting and with how elite both coaches are (Saban) and seem to be (Smart) this is going to be great. SEC Title Game matchup for the next 5 years could be! With a few more playoff matchups mixed in! Haha. I'm obviously being optimistic here, but not unrealistic.

aTm played with Clemson, Jimbo is no stranger to the big game and he knows Saban as well as anyone.

I wouldn't put money on them but Alabama struggles when playing a mobile QB so it's not out of the question for them to get beat.

The best shot is Texas A&M because it's the next game. After that, it would be Georgia in the SEC Championship game. If late season injuries start piling up like they did last year, then LSU & Auburn might have a chance; but I'm not counting on that happening again.
